This is one of my favorite games of all time. Here are some helpful tips when rolling stats.

STR gives you bonus damage. CON gives bonus HP. INT gives bonus spells to magic user, elf, and the theif for scrolls. WIS gives spell bonus to cleric. DEX boosts AC and ranged weapons. CHA boosts clerics turn undead.
