Problem for the US is rank hypocrisy - it wants peace yet goes to war at every opportunity - it wants disarmament yet arms itself with atomic weapons - it promotes democracy abroad yet stifles it at home. US foreign policy has long been destroying global good will. The US has squandered the work of past generations. Rice can't broker peace as long as Bush makes war America 'owns' Iraqi oil and has bases across the Middle East. No peace until you practice peace.

For fifty plus years they've been allowed to brainwash mass members of the American public. I even had to stop going to some churches because I was so disgusted, I mean I'm a Muslim but a lot of my friends are Christian I feel they're taking advantage of 9-11

I agree that America took advantage of 9/11, and I also know that alot of americans feel the same. Especially after the enlightment of the invasion of Profiteers invading Iraq. That's really what it was all about!

Hmm, at least Al Jazeera doesn't refer to Israel as "Israel" or "The Zionist Entity"(note the quotation marks on Israel. Arab news sources like to use quotes when writing Israel). They're still quite partial and makes the examples people use to vilify Fox News moderate by comparison.

Condoleezza Rice has no power to force Palestine or Israel to do anything. She represents the United States, which is committed now to the formation of a Palestinian state.

The borders of that state must be negotiated between Israel and Palestine.

Condi is pretty smart cookie, if it can be done now, she can do it.

Rice is playing a Pretender. Pretending to look good as a secretary of sate. By not mentioning anything about how the new Palestine state borders will look like or what will happen to the right of return of Palestine refugees. The status of illegal occupation of other Arab neighbouring states, example Golan Heights. And keeping quite about the Lebanon war that Israel started or the recent new attacks on Syria.

She can show the world the situations in which Israelis and Palestinians are successfully working and living together - if she had the courage, she could reveal how the conflict is sustained by private interests who profit from the misery - arms dealers and others who get rich and bolster their power and control via propaganda and behind the scenes lobbying.

Isrealis and Palestinians will have to find a middle ground so both can exist. Palestine will not be returned and the Zionist won't go away. That only leaves coexisting with each other or annilation of each other.
