My Goodness. This reminds of my teenage time. I loved it that time and one song of Zafar Iqbal Zafri. I Miss those lovely moments. Oh God lost every thing.

What a nazam sung by respectable Iqbal Bano who has sung it with deep emotions. She is a wonderful singer whose voice touches the heart and soul of all music lovers. She is one of the best singers served Pakistan. Being a music lover I am really admirer of Mohtarma Iqbal Bano. The presentation of wording of this nazam which is also a piece of art, nobody make him silent without praising this piece of art.
In Ghazal singing I think there is galaxy of great Pakistani singers - she is truly one of these gems.
Farida Khanum, Suriya Multanicar, Noor Jehan, Munni Begum, Habib Wali, Muhammed The great Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali, Ustad Amant Ali, Tahira Syed, Asad Amant Wali and the list goes on and on.
Amazing voice and oh so sublime, yet I can understand only some of the words. I have been coming again and again to listen to this one ghazal. It is her voice and her ability to sing so effortlessly. I love her singing.
what a combination of a poet, singer and musician !it has to be more than a song.just take one of them out, and see what remains, is like the rain in the sun.
If Noor 'mujh se pehli si muhabbat', Mehdi 'gulon me rang bhare' and Bano 'daste tanhai' had not sung these immortal numbers perhaps the message of Faiz towards human causes would have been limited given the readership data.
The effectiveness of music in carrying a message is undisputed and the established singers knowingly or otherwise have shared this honour with great poets.
Long live the poet of humanity Faiz and his singers.
thumbs up if u r listening in 2012!!!!!!!

In lonesome wilds,
O sweet love !
With tender passion,
Thy remembrance has so much soothed-
my anguished heart,
That though it is yet the dawn of the day of separation,
It seems to have gone down,
And the night of love's union has come already.

Blossom the jasmine and roses of thy loving embrace,
Rises the warmth of thy breath,
As if you were near me,
Burning slowly in its own incense.
Far away , beyond the horizon,
From thy bewitching eyes-
trickles the glistening dew,
drop by drop.

Throb the echoes of thy voice,
Thrills the mirage of thy lips;
In lonesome wilds,
Far away from thee,
Under weeds and dust,

dasht-e-tanhaai mein, ai jaan-e-jahaan, larzaan hain
In the desert of my solitude, oh love of my life, quiver
teri avaaz ke saaye,
the shadows of your voice,
tere honthon ke saraab
the mirage of your lips
