  • The cs 450 is awsome with a twenty inch bar and still lighter and stronger

  • U can have that echo cs 400 for 320.00 bucks here and pay 600 bucks for sthils ms 290 farm boss with a twenty inch bar. Ive used both and own my cs400 and would never trade.

  • how much did it cost? and did u buy it from homedepot?

  • should have bought a stihl :(

note: don't prematurely wear on your brake band by applying the chain brake FOR NO REASON, if you kill the saw via contact ground switch the chain will stop, you know this, no need to apply the brake, then kill the saw, just do the latter. Just trying to help save you some prematurely worn parts i.e. clutch drum, brake band. just like brakes in a car, the band will wear, take it easy with that chain brake, no need.

  • I have Sthil is a great saw, but i like Husqvarna, Dolmar and Echo all r great saws.

They do the job good, performance, quality, etc.

    Nice video !! Respect !

  • who else thinks this gentlemen sounds like billy bob thorton!

  • GREAT VIDEO!

  • actually thats not stupid comment husqvarna is junk now adays and echo is nowhere near as good as stihl. ive had echos drop in 6 months on me and husqvarnas to stihl will always be number one!

  • I am familar with this saw i play with it all the time at home depot

  • Looks like the chain needs to be tightened!

  • Stupid video, and Echo is shit! Buy a Stihl!

  • stupid comment, and stihl is shit! Buy a Husqvarna

  • this guy is right I know what he's talking about if you don't think he knows what he's talking about he knows alot. same as me. he's right neverrr let your chainsaw or any motor/engine sit the carb and bowl will get all gummed up. thumps up man. (5 stars)

  • That chain looks like it could use a little tightening too. Also, always use premium gas and a good gas stabilizer. I recommend Stabil marine grade. Ethanol in regular gas destroys all 2 cycle engines.

  • 40 cc?????????????18 inch bar

  • good tip on the fuel, fresh gasoline, looks a tidy saw,are they made in the U.S or canada???

  • @Liamautomechanic Developed and made in Japan for all the cleanup after the big monsters passed through!

  • @Liamautomechanic some are made in japan and other in U.S

  • Wow that is the best air cleaner I've seen on a chainsaw.

  • How many CCs is that machine? What's the longest bar you can put on it?

  • @txrelichunter Comes with an 18" bar, seems to power through harder wood better with a 16" though.

  • nice saw how much was it?

  • i have one theat tries to start then dies any ideas what might be wrong with it? Anyone please respond to my question.

  • @th19940305 What kind of saw do you have? It sounds like you're not getting enough gas out of the carb to stay running.

  • What fuel ratio does this run on?

  • my dad got this saw today works pretty damn good he cut through a 14" tree like it was butter im building a motocross track in my woods so i gotta sneak it out to my woods and cut down a couple of trees this week when hes not home because he would kill me if he saw me using it hahah

  • ~I think its a really good saw and as good as any Stihl~

  • would you recommend echo chainsaw? i have a woodlot(10 acres), i wil do my 12 cords of wood every year with lots of gardenings trees, not commercial...

  • i have this saw and i have one that my dad has had for 18 years and its still runing strong

  • did u get it in home depot

  • Bogar, do you have any other Chainsaws?

  • that's a good tip after 3-4 months in the tank, the gas gets stale

  • nice saw i use to have cs330t take care of it and thanks for the upload

  • i have a husky farm tough

  • great video, but putting your knee on while it is starting up probably isn't the best idea

  • chain's pretty loose....nice saw though

  • Yeah, i do gotta tighten it before i use it again. Thanks for viewing and commenting.

  • lefty loosy righty tighty...

  • hey guess what j45007 i m only 14 and about an our ago i was at the junkyard and i got my first chainsaw its night time here where i live i havent gotten a good look at it but i cant believe i got my first chainsaw!

  • The airfilter on my Homelite would always fall off. Didn't seem to hurt the engine but it would plug up the carb. The Echo filter is a better design.

  • BOGAR

  • SUPER......;)

  • Man I have to get me one of those

  • Wow starts up real fast wish I could get my old mccolluch to do that lol.

  • Yeah, my echo and stihl always are good starters for me. But i used to have a Homelite, and if i had a dollar for each time u tried to start it.........WELL you get the point. Although my homelite was alot louder because it was a 1979 model.

  • As already commented, it is nice to see it start on the first pull. Nice choice for hassle free chores to be done Bogar!

  • High tech chainsaw! i wish i had one of those....Awesome Video 5*****

  • what would a guy in ca need a chainsaw for??

    some annoying neighbors maybe??

  • gotta keep that sage brush trimmed, "jdl-bunchanumbers"...?

  • You got that right "JDL1352646546566"! I can think of 3 annoying neighbors right off the top of my head that can use an attitude adjustment. And i did have one of my redwood trees cut down, and i used my chainsaw to make burnable size logs. And i have another property with alot of trees on it, and a chainsaw could be a handy item to have around. Plus i also like things like this, even if i dont use them that much....its cool! -BOGAR!

  • who wouldn't want a chainsaw echos are a verry nice brand of chainsaw

  • @JDL1352646546566 and husqvarna is a nice brand of chainsaw to

  • i love echos, so reliable, i have a blower and trimmer from them, both 5 yrs old, no prolems with em!

  • Texas Chainsaw Massacre

  • Great

  • it is an awsome chainsaw i have one very simialr to this

  • Wow. that thing sounds nice. Good job Bogar!

  • Wow that thing fires right up first pull Awesome!! I don't like the newer chainsaws though, they don't sound as good as the older ones did and the older ones are louder :D like my 1976 John Deere 55cc. How much CC this one got, I guess 400 whould be 40cc?

  • pretty cool sounding chainsaw!!! :)
