@art4med You're right, four legged stools are harder to make stable. However, this stool doubles up as a 'saw horse' when turned upside down, so needs to have four legs - check out my other (longer) video of making this stool - at the end I use it as a saw horse.
Sorry, but it would look better and be easier to stabilize if it were three legs.
