  • sex in space HERE I COME

  • Obviously RobertsDigital doesnt have a clue whats going on here...spare him/her

  • this is the most stupid thing i have ever seen in my entire life....

How will you propel that crap out of the earths atmosphere. Does it contain enough fuel and force to fly at high altitudes? I dont think so.

Secondly it doesnt look like any futuristic plane ....

  • they've tested spaceship one already. it broke through the atmosphere and was in orbit before safely returning.

this is the stupidest thing you've ever seen? are you kidding me? do you know how much money virgin stock holders are going to make when this comes to fruition? lots. this medium is going to revolutionize space travel.

you obviously have no idea what you're talking about.

  • correction: space ship didn't achieve orbit! It just flew over 100km, which is considered border of space, and returned.

  • thanks for the correction, did it make you feel less like a dunce?

still, you answered your own question.. and spaceship two has the potential for orbit.

either way, you're wrong. "this is the stupidest thing i've ever seen," might want to hold your tongue the next time you experience moronic internal monologue.

  • @certifiedchillin420 oh sorry! no need to raise voice. I just saw the last post not the others, that's why. I mean really, sorry.

  • look, i don't care. i just hate when people talk shit and they have no clue what they're talking about.

keep that in mind for future reference...

  • @certifiedchillin420 SS-1 didn't go into orbit. It went straight up to 100 kilometers, and straight down, called a Sub-orbital flight.

To get to orbit you go up 300 kilometers, and then also the speed sideways, which is about mach 23. SS-1 has no sideways velocity.

  • @weirdguy7 honestly i couldn't care less. i was just trying to make a point to some prick.

  • i love how when videos like this are posted everyone is all of a sudden a aeronautics expert........

  • this was built for show only,

  • It's a new ship but she's got the right name... you treat her like a lady and she'll always bring ya home."-Dr. McCoy (Star Trek)

  • i thought it was you treat her like a lady and she'll let you bone.

  • ya... y yo me lo creo hace como 1 año dijeron que para el 2008 y yo dije que no me lo creia ai y tenia razon xDD

  • I want to work for Virgin Galactic so bad! Crikey. What a dream.

  • how many enterprises does space ships??

    thanks

  • we all ready in space

  • Tht plane look similiar wth b-29 ,the wing was 47m long;Human will have an more meaning life 4 experience space travel, thank 2 Virgin Galactic & all worker, engineer, scientis etc...Hope whn near future, tht price will get down 2very low,by tht time, maybe i will got sweet time with my lover in space 4 first time.Fantastic

  • those are realy pionier's of space travel!!!

  • im sure they've Studied it all and have to figured out - no need to worry, the test flights start soon :)

  • wow that sucked balll relly badly

  • That carrier craft looks really dodgy. As in 'bicycle built for two' kind of dodgy.

  • The design worries me. Obviously where the wings meet is a weak spot. Unless of course the carrier becomes 2 aircraft. I want to know how the parent ship will be controlled. 1/2 cockpits or remote?

  • Except their being carbon fiber components, they don't really "meet" in the middle. I'd assume it's one continuous structure, although the center mus be pretty heavily reinforced to support SS2.

And yea, the dual cockpit concept seems a little weird to me. P-82 style lol

  • That center wing is stronger than it looks. It is also cantilevered negatively, like the inverse gull wing on the Chance-Vaught F4U Corsair. That was inverse gullwinged for one reason - to make that 13 foot propeller do its job with that 18 cylinder radial. That wing is a working structure, and the weight is carried by the outer wings, mostly, and balanced on the inside wing.

  • Great! I hope there's a continuous flood of high-paying customers, to demonstrate the market appeal, and to encourage more players to get into the space tourism arena. That way the pace of progress will be maximized.

  • The early rich people who go into outer space on that are going to have to be pretty ballsy. It's gonna be nice to see how well Virgin can do with space travel.

  • It's like whene only rich people could own cars.

  • The video quality could be better but the spaceship looks fantastic.
