@3spm An instant as in a Plank epoch - the smallest subdivision of time that is possible. No information - including matter - could be sent through them. The only way to stabilize such a structure would be with material that would violate several basic laws of physics. Its basically the same thing that prevents us from traveling faster than light in normal space. I'm not saying that other methods couldn't be found, but wormholes are a dead end (no pun intended).

Quantum physics has opened up a whole new world of understanding, but it doesn't alter reality. Don't you think that we have many examples of how it takes intelligence to create intelligence like computers, automobiles & even though we don't actually create children (we facilitate the existing genetic systems) we raise them to often be closer to angels or demons in their behavior (how they treat others). But is it blind faith or faith from experience & the mutual love/attention/giving of one to another. And humans do this for others too.
