In her perfect fantasy world, one day he'll proclaim that he has the same feelings for her and say "I'm the one for you". I think, however, that when the beat picks up at the chorus, that is in fact the reality of the situation; what he would say if given the chance, and deep down, she knows exactly what's going on - she's being used. But she lets it continue because she's too far in love.
