  • I just wonder; if I use the center differential do I still need the clutch? I want to use a heavy oil weight and tight all the way the clutch...what is the worst thing could happen? Please answer because I am about to do it!

  • @H00zyodaddy

There is always something weaker that will be taking new load... and will fail.

There is no way to tune so that bashing never does any damage. Not the way I bash.

  • It's "center diff" not "centre diff". Sorry it was bothering me.

  • Torsion lock? lol what's that, it's not moving sometimes from a standstill because it's a sensorless motor which can suffer from cogging. You need a new motor mate ;)

Also, centre diffs are meant to have oil in, pointless not having any because it will send all the power to the wheels with the least grip...

  • It had no oil out of the box. It was supposed to come pre-filled, but when i first took it apart, it was empty.

The motor and esc were not happy that day.

  • @Spike553 Yeah they do that quite often, really need to improve their QC...

  • you should just put atf in center diff

  • holy cow, I remember, like you said, two weeks ago it was snowing in Calgary and in some other cities of Alberta, but a month ago it was in the positive 30 degrees celsius, Alberta gets Extremes temperatures, I'm in Montreal and hasn't snowed yet (well once but only for 3 hours and it melted instantly)

  • Calgary Alberta. Two weeks ago.
