Lucille Starr - The French song

My mother, who was French-Canadian from Quebec, loved this song. She passed away two years ago. Every time I hear this song, I think of her.

Thanks for this. My mother used to sing this to me when I was a child (she died of cancer many years ago now). And more recently my father, his wife and myself all sang this while driving to their place in Quebec, so it has deep meaning for me, and will the rest of my life.

This is Great!! I listen to it often. My mother, father and grandparents were from New Brunswick, Canada and spoke french but i never learned it (except a few words and expressions) I am very sorry I did not learn more. I live in Nebraska now and the only time i hear 'french' is when i play this and remember way back when. THANKS!!!
