  • I'm a young Libertarian Republican who advocates school vouchers, ending the war on drugs, putting a cap on military spending, making entitlements an opt out, against Iraq and Afghanistan, abolishing unconstitutional goverment departments, for massive government reform, for drilling, for Libertarian healthcare reform, and I'm for just changing things with a new direction.

  • @Charlesperalo With you there and im not American but the problem is that politicians wont dare touch the drug war because they are worried of not getting elected.

Republicans wont dare cut defence even though it doesnt make much sense for a military build up right now in America so the military budget becomes too big and wasteful.

Republicans[most] are only pseudo conservative not ''classical liberal'' like Milton Friedman or Hayek.

  • @fenderboy88 Well look the war on drugs is a bomb and if he can convince people that making marijuana illegal will reduce the problem people will back him.

  • @Charlesperalo How do you do that though....its not easy to tell people that the drug war makes things worse and increases organised crime, politicians like to be moral crusaders.

I think many people were expecting Obama to end the drug war or least partially,he doesnt even favor medical marijuana but i guess he doesnt have the courage to take a stand.

People should be free to make thier own choices even though it may be foolish and looked down upon by other people

  • @Charlesperalo Of course prostitution is another one of those hot button issues,i do not understand why it should be illegal.

Legalising Prostitution would actually reduce violence that prostitutes face in the underworld,it seems to be working in Vegas.

  • @fenderboy88 Yes it would work well if you legalized prostitution.

  • Gary Johnson 2012!

  • I don't think his stance on marijuana has anything to do with the use of it, but the fact that the war on drug cost the government so much money.

  • Didn't you listen to the interview? He thinks people should be free to make choices as long as those choices don't cause harm to others.

  • Gary Johnson 2012!

  • Johnson 2012!

  • Gotta pay off that debt sometime...

  • Gary Johnson 2012!

  • a bowl a day keeps the doc away...

  • it took me until i had back surgery to realize i could possibly become addicted to a substance. felt real good on those vicodins and suddenly understood the nature of addiction. everybodys different with regard to brain chemistry and receptor site attenuation. in my opinion, all drugs should be legalized and if you wanted to take it one step further, have the government distribute them to insure pharmaceutical grade accuracy of dosage. we could pay the national debt in 5 years i bet.

  • Eggs are great. So is Marijuana pending the person. Small doses relaxes me after a hard days work, alcohol is more addictive in my situation than weed. Your parents pass on through your genes, prone addiction that can develop in life. My grandfather, godrest his soul, was an alcoholic. So I try to stay clear of that crowd, even though i've worked in a bar for the past year or so. I've still maintained a level of balance in watching my intake. Truth b known haven't smokd in months.
