Yes they certainly do. On my last flight business class was full, no seats available. Although in the case of business travellers the company usually pays the fare, however there are also quite a few private individual travellers who pay for business and first class seats.

Sydney, Australia to NYC is 22 hours of flying; try doing that in an economy class seat that reclines only 31 inches. In business class you can lay flat, you get a duck feather duvet and real sheets and you can actually sleep. Makes a huge difference!
@ornitorrinco01 It does make a difference, but not for and individual who has to pay an average of 6K out of his own pocket for a long-haul flight. It makes more sense to pay just 1K, pocket the difference, and spend it at your destination.

Not true, I have visited Zimbabwe several times this last year and their food was really good - they even had bottled water purified and bottled in Harare.

Stating fact is not racist- yes, history has shown than whites did a better job of running the country compared to the blacks, but that isn't to say AT ALL that whites are better than blacks, there needed to be a gradual integration of government through education- and sadly that didn't happen. Is it racist to say that blacks are better runners than whites? no, it's just a fact.

Anyone who hasn't been to Africa doesn't understand the black African culture and can't understand that they see the world very differently. When the whites were there they had healthcare, education, jobs, good roads etc. There were wealthy blacks, but their culture is simply to grow enough food for their own family, so now that they have taken over the farms everyone is starving

Like it or hate it, it is here to stay, and because Zim is at the bottom right now the only way possible is up. Most if not all of Africa was better off in 1960 than its now, interms of living standards but those societies were artificially engineered, controlled, that is why they crumpled immediately afterwards, Africans are building new sustainable societies SLOWLY but steadily.

@somalipal Rhodesia may have been, but not Southern Rhodesia (which was the same thing just with a different name, so technically Rhodesia was not artificial). Mugabe threw out all the White farmers, and guess what? 85% of Zimbabwe's economy is agriculture, and the Blacks dont know how to farm. Just face the facts, when Rhodesia was around you had peace and prosperity. If you wanna live in Zimbabwe, be my guest, but I'll stay in Canada thanks.

Their govts were elitist, while millions of Africans contributed by providing labour on farms and in the mines, the beneficiaries of their sweat was only a few thousand Whites. Liberation movements have not led successful govts and have virtually done very little to uplift the lives of native Africans, but that´s a different debate.

But actually, here's some food for thought (no pun intended): what's being served on Air Zimbabwe--according to this video--is ALSO being served on all major U.S. airlines now on all but the longest flights! Nowadays you have to practically fly from New York to L.A. to get just one friggin' meal served to you, and even for stuff like M&Ms and Pringles you have to pay for them.
