great set of photos displaying aircraft and liverys from the yesteryear, its a shame they moved the aeropark to the castle donnigton side as the original site is where you would have got the best close ups although you can actually stand next to the original site, you and me will have to take a few hours up at the site get some shots of the ryanairs 737-800s or on a friday evening for the cargo jets , happy flying!
Almost had me in tears over the memories that this stirred up! I just wish I had had a video camera back in the 80's-early 90's when I visited the Aeropark and airport viewing gallery a lot! Re: Orion 737's, Cityflyer Express Dash-7's to London City, the 1985 airshow !!! I well remember the Concorde visits and the Virgin 747. My favourite was the three Lufthansa Piper Cheyenne III's arriving together, and departing together! (26 August 1991 !!!).
