@jstine1234 why? If you ride through a place with creek crossings you're bound to get wet. Lifting your feet up, at least for me, gives me less control over the bike, and who cares if you get a lil wet, you ain't gonna melt

@mthomison1 hey, guarantee ya I'd kick your ass any day of the week and I still wear a helmet. Way I see it is better safe than waaaay too sorry, a guy where I ride out fish creek just died last year, he was just riding around in the winter, not going more than 15 mph, and slid around a turn and busted his head off a steel gate and died. If you feel like you have to prove your "manliness" by not wearing a helmet, then you have some serious insecurities.
