I am totally into it 5/5 Stars

    Thx for uploading

  • alanさんって歌がものすごくうまいですね

    !!

  • well it says on wikipedia that the long high-pitched "wailing" is actually a unique tibetan singing style! (she's tibetan if u didnt know)

  • i thought she was japanese at first but she's really of tibetan descent! nevertheless her looks and vocals are just amazing!

  • c'mon how can you tell that lol you sound like "no is not chinese is taiwanese or something" I mean I can see diference in the eyes between japanese and chinese but c'mon =_=

  • sha makes me feel like smiling and crying at the same time, she is really wonderfull!!!<3 She must come and sing in France (my country), I love her music, and I think a lot of europeans would really enjoy it!

  • Alan is amazing and even tho i cannot understand chinese or japanese, damn all the americans who make fun of asians ching chong? why make fun of us wen ur music doesn't even sound as good as ours

  • The Japanese version is very good as well! Like somebody mentioned before, this version has the "Tibetan cry," which is random, but actually sounds really good! Thanks for sharing!

  • 好"諜報"味的前奏阿

    007 style opening

  • jesus christ, very impressive indeed :)

  • 她手指一直點一直點~呵呵

  • She's really pretty and she has an amazing voice, it's so unfair LOL! But to be honest she's a little bit too skinny, maybe it's just me

  • alanさん最高です^^いい声で大好きです♪

  • what ar

  • I'm American (and white lol) and at first her saprano was really shocking but man does she have talent. Just heard about her a few days ago and I'm totally a fan now. I guess it depends on your taste.

We don't have a lot of high sapranos in popular music over here so I guess it can be a bit hard to get used to this type of music.

  • AMAZING!!!! i just watched the video for this, and was so taken by it I had to see how she wa slive. And oh my god! Not only a beautiful voice, she actually MOVED! Everyone else does these subtle gestures, and she actually put more emotion into her perforance with the fluid movements of her arms. Why cant more singers do stuff like that when singing a ballad...

  • I loved it!<3

  • haha, I'm Chinese myself, and honestly speaking I still prefer her Japanese songs (and versions) better than the Chinese stuff. Somehow this particular song just sounded better in Japanese, and her new Japanese album is fantastic. I can hear just a little accent in her Japanese though (particularly in one part where she pronounced "fu" funny) but wow, fantastic perf :D

  • beautiful song for a beautiful girl

just curious how big is she in japan and china?

  • so good *_*

  • I might get flamed by hardcore Chinese fans but no matter... I still prefer the Japanese version because its by Avex Trax and she did all her wonderful beutifull Chiiiyeaaaaaaaaa.... in most of her Songs meanwhile you wont find her Mandrin ver with that. Japanese Songs blends in with her Tibetian origin far better despite her chinese accent.

  • Not bashing, but just want to clear something out. The Mandarin version does not have the cry because most of us Chinese listeners will identify that as Tibetan/other minority's. Since this is an OST(if that's right) for a movie that has almost nothing to do with Tibet, it will be really awkward to have that Chiiyea in there; it'll be like putting a cowboy "yeehaw" in the middle of a movie based on the Victorian Era.

  • Comment removed

  • by maradin's logic, the makers of red cliff might as well add in western elements, anachronisms, and aliens to be more open minded.

obviously that's an exaggeration, but my point is that Red Cliff was a well done movie because the makers were very specific in their vision. if they wanted the movie to revolve around the distinctiveness of their music, it would be more like a 4 hour long music video. there's no need to express unnecessary issues like musical diversity since it's out of scope.

  • I don't consider adding Tibetian wailing to be Alien or pretty much your mixed up and screw the up the song term. I repeat It is to the ears of the listeners it does not sound wrong if she add the wailing in the chinese version it will only make it better and I am very specific as a chinese myself that understands both versions. So by my Logic is simply a good blend and I don't need your sarcasm thanks

  • agree~ no explanations out there better than that.

    you're thoughtful!

  • for some reason i love her chinese version better. but the tibetan ending in japanese is so cool! she's amazing

  • oh hell, that was so beautiful, it gave me shivers

  • her vocal rang kicks whitney &marhaia ass

  • I love her songs in chiense better, but

    japanese is good too.

    and her note range

    is AMAZING! probably the best

    in the world.

  • she did so awesome in red cliff's songs, when i heard the song playing during credit in part 2 i was like O_O omg must download

i like the chinese version better tho

  • Her lives are always incredible.

  • i know,but it not means inevitable,

my JP friends can speank chinese

    like chinese speak,and im chinese,

my friends can speak the same tone like jp,almost chinese can speak this way,

expect some parts of the china, like GUANGXI pronvince--LI JIANG,they cannot change the tone,

sometimes it depend on how long that she learned the language,Alan is the初心者,means new learner,we can know it through her pronunciation.

  • |I like this song better in mandarin...

    she's an amazing performer!

  • what timing beat are you talking about?? what is it about her tapping her fingers. i dont get it? lol. and yea, its a really nice song. haunting.. lol

  • it's not a timing beat. not in time with anything. it could be a nervous tick though.

  • ....

FYI, she's chinese. Which means that her tone is affecting her Japanese dialect. Do research.

  • Its a beautiful song, other than the too obvious timing beat on the mic while performing. This is what we called universal music...good in jap and mandrin, maybe even cantonese.

  • alan love you 4EVER,爱你爱你,爱你,爱你哦,非常爱你,如果我是周瑜,你就是小乔,爱你,LOVEING

    U,LOVE U

  • Tibetans are so good at singing. She is a real artist.

  • I loved it!<3

  • One of the best live performers, in my opinion. Not a lot of people can stand in front of a crowd and still deliver like alan can :) She's perfectly in tune!

  • i don't really like music but the lyrics is beautifully written.

  • The song is even more impressive live! :D

  • świetna pioseneczka

  • I like the Chinese version better. Her Japanese needs some improvement, but her voice is just awesome in any language.

  • One beautiful singer. This song is soo profounding.

  • Such a beautiful song....Love it....

Anyone has this song on their computer so that they could send me it? I'm trying to look for a download of it but I can't find it

    Greetings from Sweden!

  • I'm a Cantonese from Hong Kong, but I prefer the Japanese version.

  • めっちゃ、うまい!!!彼女、完璧!!!

    っすばらしい!!!感動!!!

  • wow ... I don't have words for it ... brilliant!!

  • wow sounds so good live!

  • alan is an amazing singer :D i just love her. i like the chinese version of this song better :D good azz perf..well she always have good perfs ^^ haha

  • I agree! The Chinese version just seems to flow a little more, but the Japanese version is great as well. I love the operatic touch she added in the song.

  • she is really pretty...

  • her sing at d last is just incredible!

  • WOW! THat was soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

    breathtaking...

i'm proud of being a Fan of ALAN!

    hahaha

  • so amazing, best chinese artist ever!

  • btw, It's Shin Sen, not Kokoro Ikusa

  • its read as kokoro ikuza in japanese ^^"

  • Okay, I just watched another video of her entitled "alan live in Tokyo Odaiba VenusFort (2008.07.05)" on YT and the narrator says Shin Sen @ about 1:07.

  • I'm stupid and forgot to click Post Comment on something I wrote before my other comment. Just to reiterate, the Japanese language has more than one pronunciation for many of its Kanji. So 心 could be read as either kokoro or shin. I think the goal was to stay as close to the original Chinese title as possible, hence the choice of pronunciation, because kokoro is more common.

I'm not Japanese. This is something I've just picked up in my years of fangirling. Don't quote me on any of this.

  • i just love her lol

  • She's gorgeous.

    The song is gorgeous.

    Her dress is gorgeous.

    Everything is perfect, but seriously?

alan, please eat something. You look -way too- skinny up there on stage.

  • no, she is just perfect ^^

  • her performance is amazing!

  • She looks gorgeous. And beautiful performance as always. =3

  • The live wailing is absolutely stunning
