  • It's important when you put the filling on top of the semi-cooked egg to put it at a 90 degree angle to the handle of the pan, so it makes a "T"....that way, you can flip the omelet out the right way.

  • @markjroberts43 1/2 a cup of rice is good. It's the average amount of rice people are normally served with at shops, and finishable. Use that.

  • This came out great, although I made a couple of changes... I did not use mushrooms or peas. Instead of using a chicken bouillon cube, I used a little bit of chicken broth. And instead of white wine, I used sake. I also substituted some of the water for chicken broth when I cooked the rice.

  • I have found a higher powered stove makes alot of difference cooking omurice omelettes. A high powered stove is really necessary to create a quick solidifying action. I tried a 9kw gas burner and it makes so much difference in the formation. MY electric stove didn't prove nearly as good. If you want to cook pro then you really need a high power burner of more than 3kw. you can use a low powered stove but it wont be as good as a high powered burner and is really needed for quick formation

  • @dranjihemoyuks hi. i cooked omurice several times. u just need a whole tomato can and regular tomato kechup as mentioned in this video. because this chef seasons the rice with boullion/consomme and that's enough! hope it's helpful. :)

    Hey dear, i ain't Francis but omurice was my childhood food i grew up with, when my mother taught me how to make it she used tomato paste (not ketchup) yet in the vid it looks like she used diced tomatoes along with the juice. Hope that helps
