I have always loved this group. I grew up listening to all their tunes. But, there is something special about this one. It is absolutely gorgeous. Could it be one of the tunes that is so beautiful that it gives us a taste of Heaven? I think so!
I remember Playing with them in the attic of an old victorian in Detroit. I had recently got out of the Army and was no way ready for any romance, even though Mary and I hit it off very well. That well into the past, but I will always remember her.
Love Gary Shearston's music and have since 1965 when we lived in Australia. He had this very fine TV show in Sydney called Just Folk and I learned dozens of Aussie Tunes, like (Lazy Harry's Notorious Pub on)The Road To Gundagai and The Murrumbigee Shearer. Shearston's songs are all on CD now and available so get some.
I wish him the best with many thanks and appreciation for his wonderful gift of song to us all, "Sometime Lovin' " being one of those treats.
There were so many gems from Album, this, Pack up your Sorrows, Kisses Sweeter Than Wine to just name three The harmony is sometimes almost to much, no human can stand such beauty Sometimes I sit in my room and just listen in awe and yes many times cry. never knew such beauty could exist musically But it does through PP&M
I'm so happy to find this, I've checked for it occasionally over the last few years. Thanks for posting this beautiful song; it's one of my all time favorites from P, P & M!
