OVW was WWE's "developmental" group. What that means is that when WWE signs new future stars, that is where they go to train (OVW was also a wrestling school), and to work on character ideas before they got a chance to be on Raw or Smackdown. It's no longer part of WWE. Instead WWE's developmental group is now FCW. it has yet to produce the stars that OVW did (Batista, Randy Orton and John Cena were all OVW students)

Everyone is so much more entertaining in ovw. WWE needs to make there program like this, good promo's, qualiity wrestling and relatable characters who are actually entertaining. Everyone is so cheesy and one dimensional in wwe compared to how they are here. Just look at punk for example, I was laughing my ass off here.
