First time I hated the elevators but after playing me2 and then playing me1 again I absoloutly love them. the dialogue you hear is way better than listening to nothing, it feels like there is no real loading sequence since everythings moving and the elevator music is so catchy. bring back elevators bioware!

@Mihuzaki Gave you a chance to hear your squad input, and sure, there are advertisement kiosks themselves in the second game, but I liked hearing news and advertisements in elevators. It was a good opportunity to enhance the environment. And 'hours' is obviously an exaggeration, but the elevator rides weren't entirely that long anyway. If you were on the Citadel and you hated elevators too much, you were inclined to just fast travel. On other worlds, they weren't that long either.

@qazxsw13, You claim that you loved the elevators, and it made the RPG experience interesting, nothing about the advertisements in game, just the elevators, so at that conclusion, that was my response, the elevator rides wore boring and drawn out, nothing really interesting happened, sometimes one of your squad mates would say something funny, but other then that, it was just an intermission to get a drink or go to the bathroom.

@Mihuzaki I'm a patient person, so they really didn't bother me. The first game has a lot of criticism in various areas, but it's still an ideal game with amusing features.  Elevators are an interesting alternative to loading screens. If playing any video games has taught me anything, it's patience. I enjoy small things in video games, even if it's a witty comment from a squad mate during an intermission.
