A friend of mine runs a B.J fansite and she was lucky enough to talk to some of the artists who worked on the show... and ur right. It seems to be the most popular rumour...which probably means theres sum truth in it. His fingernails were meant to be black, then green, but for sum reason they changed them to red at the last minute!
