Lamar Smith, Rick Perry, the bushes, and many more

  • @CaveJohnsonAperture Sometimes I pretend they aren't real

  • People talk about hell like its a darn carnival, Its supposed to be worse than all the ugliest things that happen on this earth. Thats real bad!!

  • read the book too - not because thats "smart" - but cos, u will see how Cormac's dialogue is almost verbatim thruout ...

  • I bet no one fucks with Javier in public because of this movie.

  • we're all going to hell

  • @BEARARMZ Why are we all going to hell?

  • @shadowman2192 we all sin

  • @BEARARMZ Yeah we cannot help but to sin sometimes because none of us are perfect, doesn't mean we are all going to hell.

  • @shadowman2192 a wise man said " sinning is human nature, if you're gonna sin be the best sinner you can be"

  • @BEARARMZ Will do

  • He should wear striped pajamas with the night cap on head when he does this scene. It would go well with his hair..

  • Then again, we don't know that there wasn't a fight and this Deputy survived and got the upper hand and got him into custody. Happens everyday in Law Enforcement. guys that shouldnt get caught do, by the most unexpected officer

  • One thing about this? How come Chigurh allowed himself to be captured by someone obviously not on his level? That's the only oddity about this.

  • Scariest mother fucker in cinema history. Come at me bro, you know it's true!

  • Press 9 for CHA-KING

  • "Said he was goin' to Hell...Be there in about fifteen minutes" Sounds like Jared Loughner. He knew what Death, Hell and the Devil was...Why not try it out! He didn't believe cow horns would hook!

  • For someone who kills so many people anton doesn't like blood. He does everything to not get it on himself.

  • @Alchemist1330 just a guess but probably so theres no evidence of him being there? idk i could be wrong

  • Rule #1 don't f*ck with anton

  • @sephiroth8261 Rule #2 don't you f*ucking dare disobeying Rule #1

  • Whats the weapon he kills the man in the car with?

  • @sephiroth8261 Compressed air and a retractable metal piece.

  • His face in there is so great!!!!

  • This really is no country for old men--old men have the worst luck in this movie: the man by the highway, the man in the pickup truck, and the chicken farmer.

  • Step out and receive the mark of the beast!

  • Really, it's the haircut that makes him so terrifying...

  • 30,000h view yay

  • OH CATTLE CRAP!! YOU GOTTA BE PUMPING IRON TO DO THAT STUFF."OK DRIVER...OUT OF THE CAR AND LET ME TEST YOU LIKE TINKERBELL AFTER TEN MARTINIS FOR DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED.DON'T WORRY...THIS FRONTAL LOBE ALCOHOL ANALYZER WON'T HURT A BIT.AND BY THE WAY...DID YOU CHANGE THE OIL FOR ME??:""

  • Manhunt

  • 2:33 He's raping him anal style ^.^

  • Tommy Lee Jones' monologue is classic classic beyond words.

  • Well, this would never happen in real life, but its Hollywood, right?

  • That had to be the worlds dumbest deputy. How many intelligent lawmen would turn there back on anyone in handcuffs?

  • the ending was fucked up this sicko didn't even die

  • that's why you have the desk facing TOWARD the prisoner

  • Southern Accent + Audio Caption button = fail.

    "that's important swim wear..."

"Sony is going to head off..."

    "Pandora meets something..."

while washing bloodied wrists: "the fleet..."

    WHAT DOES IT MEAN

  • @dandypajamas "Video but compare yourself against over time"

"clinger warner radar operator days tax"

"there's this borders into the live picture fill in a while back

    "marie list tonight this morning"

    "he kept a fourteen-year-old girl"

"predator said it was a crime occurred"

"but he told me they would limit cash into it"

    HAHAHAHA! This is actually hilarious!

  • He's got it under control xD

  • idiot, that's why you never cuff em in the front

  • @takadi he cuffed him in the back watch the start u'll see him in the back

  • @juniorlhulk

    ahh I see my bad

  • "Hmmm.....maybe we should have more cops in this station."

  • @SinclairDelux I think they actually put way too many scuff marks on the floor to be realistic, considering he didn't move around half of the room like that. Their movement radius wasn't as big as the marks depict...lol

  • great film

  • Who the hell is going to turn their back on a crazy looking mf like that?? And who the hell is going to stop get of the car and let somebody put something their forehead?? Especially holding a metal tank

  • @realut10

idk bout the cop. But the cilvilan stoped cause of the cop car. And even though i wouldnt let him put that thing on my head. Most people have no idea wat it is, and wat its used for. probaly thought he was checking something.

  • love the boots!

  • Kill 3 people in 4 minutes, time to change socks !!!

  • I can just sit and hear Tommy Lee Jones telling me folk tales for days without tiring out, the man has just the right voice

  • @landship92 I know right? Him and Morgan Freeman I could listen to non-stop

  • Man...when a dude who looks like Charles Manson's brother carrying a cattle gun asks you to get out of your car, you just don't.

  • Wonderful dialogue -- I love when he clarifies, ",that's the younger Jim,"

  • YOUR GUN!

    USE IT!

  • Is that boy the narrator is talking about an allusion to the Kid from Cormac McCarthy's "Blood Meridian".

  • Why didn't the deputy lock him in a cell? With a person that creepy I would of shot him now and answered questions later.

  • @cragar72 And went to jail for murder

  • I want that cattle gun :)

  • What was that oxygen tank looking thing? What was it intended to do?

  • @CrA1n4 its a pressurised tank that shoots out and retracts a rod like thing, its how they kill cattle

  • @sirap10117 Specifically, its called a "captive bolt pistol" (because it uses high-pressure air or a small explosive charge to fire the bolt forward, but the bolt's "captive", so it doesn't fly out. Also, they don't use these, anymore, at abbatoirs (slaughterhouses, although I bet I misspelled it.)

  • u know when a villain needs that one scene where u know the guy means buisness this is one of those scenes

  • one thing ive wondered is why does anton look away? he doesnt want blood on his face?

  • @dasdasist That's excactly it.

  • @dasdasist I think he's just leaning back very far so that he can tighten the stranglehold on the guy's neck.

  • @dasdasist exactly

  • cheapest lobotomy on the market

  • you have to hit him hard on the nuts!

  • first of all, why the hell would you situate a desk facing the wall?... second why the hell would you situate a prisoner behind you where you can't see him?!

  • @DonCorleone87 thats what i said when i saw the movie haha. but there wouldnt even be a book/movie if the table wasnt turned like that

  • this was a good movie but Javier Bardem made it awesome!!!! he deserved that Oscar.

  • Continuity when he has gloves on.

  • Javier Bardem face when he kills the cop is so disturbing. Its looks like he's getting off on choking the cop.

  • In the book he severs his artery and blood spurts all over the wall. It's weird reading the book after seeing the movie, almost sacreligious, but rewarding as well caz as great as the film is, just doesn't cut it like the book itself...

  • @camhirtle yes, after this movie, i also bought the book. pleasantly surprised that the movie wasn't all that different from it. wish others like Harry Potter could adhere to the original story.

  • omg i have the same floor tiles in my apartment

  • ''yessir, I got him under control.. ''

  • The opening statment by TLJ's character, is something that I thought was totally unbelieveable. Out West and especially on the Border Peace Officers were always packing Heat.

  • 2:50 'I came.'

  • What I don't understand was how this run-of-the-mill deputy managed to arrest Chigurh in the first place. Based on the carnage he wrecked throughout the rest of the movie you'd think they'd need the National Guard to take him down.

  • @melosebrainuhoh

My guess is he lucked into catching Chigurh unarmed and decided to take him in for being some "drifter". Chigurh played along, so the deputy dropped his guard.

Rumors say, Chigurh wanted to get caught to see if he could get out of the situation, or for his own pleasure, who knows?

In the novel it is mentioned the Chigurh got arrested for being in some bar brawl while drunk, and had some strange idea why he would allow himself to be arrested.

  • Now isn't that such a trusting smile? =^.^=

  • this movie had the most abrupt confusing ending ever

  • @lando30001 i think that story tommy lee jones' character was telling alluded to his death. i think his character had a heart attack and died right after he told that story.

  • @lando30001 throws you for a loop, I know, heh. Thing I like about it is the way it puts another element of the story into perspective. A more philosophical, real-to-life story.

  • @lando30001 Actually, I'd give that title to There Will Be Blood.

  • @lando30001 At least it wasn't like The Sopranos that just cut out in mid sent-

  • @lando30001 it's wasnt about the story. it was about the meaning. read the book, it'll help ya out.

  • @lando30001 The ending cheapened the movie quite a bit, it was right on the edge of like being one of the best movies ever made ever!

  • @Maloperverso I believe the books actually had a sequel so I believe technically it wasn't over yet.

  • @Maloperverso I disagree. I loved the ending. It was the whole point of the title. At the beginning Tommy Lee Jones' character talks about how sheriffs didn't even wear guns in years prior, and in the end he realizes he has no way of fighting the kind of evil Anton Chigurgh and men like him are capable of. It's no country for old men any more.

  • @lando30001 abrupt, yes. Confusing, just for the people who doesnt pay attention to what Jones is saying at the end.

  • Anton is NOT a good hitman. How many people does he kill to find the suitcase? The cop, this driver, another truck driver, the other two guys in the desert at night, the three Mexicans in the hotel, Carson, the Big Boss, Luelyn's wife, the hotel clerk. That's a dozen people in a week just on this one assignment.

  • @r5t6y7u8 Not very low-profile, to say the least. Yet you can't argue with how efficient he is when he does his business.

  • @r5t6y7u8 This shows that he is not doing this because he needs to. He does what he does because he loves killing.

  • @r5t6y7u8 The dude probably gets more thrills from klling than for the money itself......That's a hit-man, if you ask me. Especially if he pulled it off.

  • @r5t6y7u8 LOL

  • The look on his face as he started strangling that cop is fucking terrifying.

  • what a murderin murphy

  • i'm sending one of them cattle guns to nancy graces' family. maybe they are just as sick of it all.....

  • im sending one of them cattle guns to bon jovi's mother. maybe she'll realize the mistake she made....

  • he got them cuffs from rear to front quicker than Riggs gets out of a str8jacket...

  • cold blooded

  • step out of the car and slait
