  • iz - imho, a close reading of ch. 5 reveals that the real 'disease' is 'self' & only god can rid you of 'self'. once you believe that, you're flat-out f**ked.

    bill purposefully made the 'disease' thing a moving target so that he could imply an 'alcoholic' was riddled with it & later claim that he never explicitly said as much.

    the stock market of the '20s rose & crashed mightily under the same type of bad faith shenanigans.

    as they say, no coincidences.
