  • tjw1963 hai. I assume from your username , you are 48, 49 this year. wow!!! that was super excellent. you are just like my mum, great in doing crochet. and she is also 49 this year. I would like to know how long did you take to become master like this? im doing it, and I spent 2 hours for doing this 5 rows only and u spent only like approx 20 minutes. This is my first time doing a crochet project. And I love your passion so much, you are such a great crochet teacher.

  • this is awesome, I subscribed to you because you are very patient on teaching how and slow down the video so we can actually get it, thanks so much

  • i love this, it's so pretty

  • also, what does "multiple" mean for crochet? pardon my ignorance :)

  • hi, i'm very brand new to this...so i'm confused - in the video you say to "repeat rows 2 thru 5" for the length, and in the written instructions you say to "repeat rows 1 thru 4"...i followed the video all the way thru and made the piece, i haven't done your written instructions tho to see if they're different?

  • Is it okay to have 30 to start instead of 27? I want to do this as a scarf for an man. Thank you. Great work.

  • @brownvagabond You can make the chain as long as you want to make it.

  • Excellent! I'm looking for a different pattern for a baby afghan....this will work quite nicely! I have your blog bookmarked....I'll send you pics!

  • @CindyM0311 Thank you, I will be looking out for pictures when you get it complete.

  • Teresa, I plan to do a queen size bed cover - could you tell me how many stitches I need to start with? Thank you. Your video is very easy to follow, even though the pattern looks too scary complicated to even try!!!

  • Your videos are awesome. I'm on my way to crocheting my first blanket thanks to you.thank you

  • Thanks for sharing I've been looking for a tut on this stitch for weeks I saw a pic and have been trying to learn it on my own for the past two days then I saw you post this on fb I will share a pic with you when Im finished with my project thanks again Teresa ;-)

  • @EEVANS131 You are welcome! It is going to come from the meshy, open work type of crochet.

  • Thank you :)

  • What is the multiple on this? I would like to make an afgan. So would i just go from 27 like it is here to say 100 and add seven, to make it even?

  • @tammaramisty The multiple is 8

  • Now I want to make this as a belt with a flower on one end and a hook to stick the flower on the other end, any ideas? thanks

  • @erreipa That sounds like a good idea! Please share a picture on my Facebook page when you are finished!

  • If I do a chan of 28 do I do a row of single crochets then start the tutorial? I am just trying to do a swatch for now.

  • @TheKara1983 Yes, the row of single crochet will be the same as the row of foundation single crochet.

  • I made this as a scarf but i would like to know what kind of hat will match with this, thanks for this amazing videos!!!

  • Hi

I am a GREAT fan but I found this video hard to follow.

Will you be doing a remake of it please?

    Keep up the good work.

  • @fill9twos What are you finding difficult about this tutorial. You will find the written and symbol instructions on my crochet blog. The link is in the video details below the video.

  • Thanks for your prompt reply.

Usually I find the video tutorial enough.

I have visited your blog and seen the pattern.

  • omg. Thats such a long time. Im striving to be like you now =)

  • @lshymciver Keep in mind, there is always something new to learn with crochet.

  • I don't know how to explain it, but since I was 7 (I'm 46) My crochet was backwards and it was almost like knitting. You taught me to crochet properly and my work gets so many compliments. I can never, ever thank you enough.

  • @GoddessHerbals Thank you! It is wonderful to hear your success with crochet!

  • How long have you been crocheting?

  • @lshymciver Going on 28 years.

  • I love all your videos, I also love the nail color in this one!! :)

I recently used your foundation chain instructions, worked out great, only I made it a little too tight. I'll work on that...but I love it already and will be using that a LOT for future projects! Thank you!

  • @wig4usc Working on tension and keeping it loose will help keep the foundation stitch from being to tight.

  • nice pattern! it would make a great edging for a blanky.:)

  • @ladysaraby Thank you! :)

  • I very much appreciate the teachings of their videos, I do not speak English but I learned a lot watching them like I should tell you that I made a dress for baby, a pair of shoes, a few stitches and really is so simple that I can imagine if you understood the verbal explanation Thanks again and God bless =). Sorry for the comment I translated it into google and do not know if I understand. Thanks.

  • @mellschoco Gracias. Por favor, comparta una foto de su obra completa en mi página de Facebook. Le agradezco el comentario!

  • I really like this pattern :) I predict a new scarf in my future...

  • @Christopherslady I had to look and it is Gunmetal.

  • Really great teaching! Nice nails to :)

  • Great stitches and nice nail polish.

  • TEREZA. GRACIAS POR TUS NUEVAS PUNTADAS SON COMO TODAS MARAVILLOSAS. BAAY.

  • Couldn't that also be used for a belt?

  • @adamatova A belt is a really great idea!!

  • @adamatova I was thinking it would make a great choker!

  • Thank you again, every day i check my subscribtions to see if there is already something new and it makes me really happy to find again anything from you! Always great!

  • all of your videos are so helpful :]

  • Beautiful pattern, and LOVE the nails!

  • Pretty nails

  • Love the nail polish!

  • You make everything look so easy!! I bet I have to "frog"" a few dozen times before I finally get it but I won't give up til I have it down pat. Such an unusual pattern!!!

  • Thank you so much for your beautiful tutorial. I really like this pattern.

  • @SiameseKatzY Thank you!

  • Not to speak for Teresa but she usually has the video up first, then the written instructions will be posted as soon as she can. Teresa has to juggle many balls (of yarn, tee-hee) every day to do all that she does for the crochet world. :)

  • @genevalou I could not have said that better myself! Thank you! :)

  • This is a great video! I finally understand the foundation single crochet! And, this is an adorable scarf idea! Thank you for all of your videos!

  • do you have a printable pattern for this ?

  • Yes I love the nails they are soooo coool!!!!

  • thank you for showin how to do the foudation single crochet...i've seen it done on different crocheted items, but never could figure out how to do it...i usually do the single crochet stitch chain, then do a row of double stitches, but won't that foundation stitch row save tons of time...when i get some more yarn,i intend on practicing...because i believe once you know how to do the foundation(or knkowing the basics) you can build on that...

  • OMG your nails match your hook!!!! aren't you cute! ^_^

and i love the pattern and that yarn is real nice too ! got a new idea! thanks again, you always give such great tutorials!

  • very nice and i love your nails in this vid!! going to try this!

  • This is going to be cool. Love it!!! Oh, I also like the finger nail polish!!! ;-)

  • Thank you so much! I love this <3 gonna try it now.

  • nice... something new to work with. -thanks!
