• @Natsuhiboshui Seriously?

  • epic movie :) Best fantasy ever

  • Omg I found this movie I wasn't born when this movie came out but I remember my mom bought me this movie for my birthday in 1998 I love this movie ima go watch it :D

  • .... I found Hedwig!!!

  • "The excitement of David Bowie."

  • I will never look at peaches the same way

  • Sarah, y u no give in to David Bowie's glittery crotch!?

  • I watched this non stop as a kid, just now do I realise how hot David Bowie was, and still is ;)

  • To be honest, if David Bowie turned up in your bedroom at night, you'd wanna fucking jam with him.

  • @The6thSimpson Uh -> Hell Yeah

  • FOOOOOOOOOOOOOSHIIIIIIIIIIIGGGGGIIIIIIIIIIIi =) Thumbs up!

  • this film used to scare me but i still couldnt help myself from watching it

  • I watched this all the time when I was little! David Bowie..... whatta babe!

  • 15 year old jennifer connelly was hot!

  • I can't believe this is the movie my teacher showed to her 4-6 year old kids, just can't imagine the fright they had in their minds

  • THE EXCITEMENT OF DAVID BOWIE.

    I love this trailer.

  • This right here is my childhood.

  • "Who are you?"

    "David Bowie, dumb bitch!"

  • I saw the film for the first time today, and now I wish we still made movies like this instead of those computer technics! Instead of making a monster fast on the computer, they head to make each one of them and also find a way of letting it make a performance! this was movie making at its best :D

  • Its sad when a trailer is better then the film, though I do have to say Jennifer's performance was great, as was Davids. If I saw this when I was younger... yeah I'm not gonna go there. lol

  • I have watched this movie half a dozen times. It it still one of my favourite childrens movie of all time, behind Barbie movies.

I hope no money making producers make a remake of this movie. It would ruin this movie.

Whoever made this movie did a really good job. Some movie don't need remakes, and are a masterpiece in their own right. Just like Wizard Of Oz.

Jennifer Connelly is beautiful and a wonderful actress. No-one can take her place.

  • is it me or does the trailer remind you of nightmare in elmstreet?

  • 0:13 FUSHIGI

     lol

  • They say "The excitement of David Bowie", I hear "We've got him in tights, and his crotch is bigger than your head."

  • @xxxbeltxxx Yeah I think that may have been on purpose..

man this is a good trailer, it actually makes the shit look even better than it was.

  • I've just got the film in blu ray! I'm a major fan of David Bowie, so I've really been looking foreward to the day where I could se it ;-D

  • My ex made me watch this a thousand times..so much in fact..."You remind me of the babe...what babe?...the babe with the power...what power?...the power of voodoo...who do?....you do....do what?...remind me of the babe...hahaha" LOL

  • Fushigi!!!

  • that's bill kaulitz' fave movie (':

  • Why wasn't this film a bigger hit?

  • Illuminati movie.

  • I saw this when I was really young and I LOVE IT and haven't forgotten about it :)

  • I wish the goblins would come take you away right now!

  • This movie does not suck. Its a good movie and Im about watch it right now :p

  • I dont care if it sucks, I so wana see it

  • "The Excitement of David Bowie" has me in stitches. If you've watched this movie and seen his costume you'd understand.

  • My little sister asked me, " Would you trade me to the Goblin King??".

Me " Hell yeah!!! Screw you man, I am the Goblin Queen!!"

    Little sister" "REALLY!!??"

Me "Hun, I would go through that shit five hundred times, and not change my decision..."

    Her: Such a pity..

    I love my sister...

    <3

  • Wow, this looks like a really cool movie! I wonder if it's on Netflix...

  • @Sarhinaflower it is on netflix

  • @90sStyle I know. xD I found it. It's a cool movie! On a rating of 1 out of 5 stars, I'd give it a 3.

  • thumbs up if u thought this was percy jackson...

  • awesome movie, I just bought the dvd

  • TheMeCaMa - The Labyrinth of Death! Watch and comment!

  • My sister and I both grew up with this movie. We are going soon to get a tattoo of a barn owl with the words "You have no power over me." ♥

  • we did a show to this for marching band !(:

  • The only movie that makes me feel strange about my sexuality, and I'm a man. :P

  • also sensual girl here just for you baby

  • they don't do movie like this anymore

  • I can remember watching this as a kid and it scared me but films from the 80's are so much better.

  • I've always wanted to tear David Bowies clothes off with my teeth.

  • "The Excitement of David Bowie"

    EPIC!!!!

  • hihi Im a young girl with the most incredible smile

  • I love(d) this movie as teener! Like David Bowie en ofcourse Jennifer Connely!

  • Personally, I think the imagination of Jim Henson has done more for fantasy films than a whole decade's worth of computer programs ever will.

  • @DarkWraith true that, especially considering that we now have nothing but steaming pieces of shit like Skyrim, Dragon Age, Dark Souls and other completely unimaginative primitive crap.

  • @TheMonocleMan Jim Henson is a prime example of how creativity and imagination can never be entirely defined--or, in some cases, entirely confined--by technology.

  • @DarkWraith just like tolkien has done with the lord of the rings.

  • I never liked this as a kid, but I do now, and so do my kids.

  • EVERYTHING I"VE DONE I"VE DONE FOR YOU!!

  • ITS DAVID BOWIE!!! =)

  • ITS DAVID BOWIE!!! =)

  • this film really scared me when i was little, i still find it rather creepy...

  • @JuneBug4489 Definitely!!! I saw this at the cinema when I was 6 years old and it scared me quite a lot. I think I had a few nightmares! Since then I still think it's creepy, kind of like a kids version of Nightmare on Elm Street.

  • @JuneBug4489 Like me! And I just found out it's name again few hours ago! Gonna watch it soon... great reminds coming from the past :>

  • Same here... haven't seen it in ages, but I remember feeling like that. A must-see, though

  • @JuneBug4489 When it comes to Creepy The Dark Crystal takes it that movie had some odd looking stuff in it

  • @wotldthe2006 I totally agree with you there. That movie...*shudder* God, it bothered me so much as a kid. I even remember being terrified of Jareth before I watched it again (about a year ago). I actually like Labyrinth now. The Dark Crystal still weirds me out though. lol

  • they should redo this movie :oo it would look even awesomer .!

  • @SPiiCYSHiiT

    :... shame on you.

    SHAME

    ON

    YOU

they would only use shitty CGI effects and ruin it :S

  • i really luv jim henson's movies like Dark Crystal and Mirrormask, but this movie was so shit!

  • at the time I was a 6 year old so in love with the Goblin King. Damn you David Bowie for ruining my expectations in life, you know how many times I tried to wish you took my little brother away just so I can go with you?

  • this one of the greatest movie in my childhood. man, i was soooo in love with jennifer :-) after the cinema i bought the soundtrack. and i still listen to this cd these days. that`s amazin`

  • So thats where they got the Fushigi from

  • Best fantasy film. Ever.

  • phht thats no crystal ball its a fu shi gi a rather magical ball

  • I love this movie... I totally grew up with it.

  • i love him

  • This movie was made over. Pan's Labyrinth, directed by Guillermo Del Torro is an amazing remake! Spanish subtitled in English, as long as you don't mind reading, you'll love it!

  • Ohmigosh he had a fushigi!!!

  • I HAVE NO IDEA WHY MY SISTER LIKES THIS MOVIE OR BOWIE SO MUCH.

THEY ARE BOTH SO FAKE & GAY!

  • @Gamerlives they are not!

  • @lovagecos yeah they are!

how i know bowie is gay? look up "dancing in the street"

  • @Gamerlives 1) yeah, i've seen it. they did it to raise money for live aid, a good cause.

    2) i think the fact bowie has been happily married for nineteen years proves he's not gay, and the fact he's said in an interview that he once declared himself as bisexual as 'a compulsion to flout moral codes rather than a real biological and psychological state of being.'

    3) you say gay like its such a bad thing. homophobe?

    4) i've seen you make that comment on another labyrinth video. THAT'S SO LAME!

  • @lovagecos you sir have just been trolled!

  • @Gamerlives i repeat... LAME.

  • Comment removed

  • @Gamerlives you are just so... lame. sorry to be repetitive, but i really think that sums you up. bye :)

  • @lovagecos so im lame and this movie isn't?

  • @Gamerlives omg i'm sorry but please...can you hear urslef... your sitting alone writing messages about how you hate david bowie on all his videos!!!

do everyone a favour and stop being a pain in the butt by commenting on this video.

  • @SintelsRosella your a faggot, try and stop me motherfucker!

  • @Gamerlives hahahaha lame!

  • @EdwardEwife lol XD I did her it after reading your comment!!

  • I saw this on nickelodean when I was a kid, no wonder i'm so fucked up today.

  • lol like romantic nights, candles, re d roses

  • anyone else hear: "I brought you a kitten" in the beginning XD but seriously love this movie. mmm Jareth lol

  • please don't make a remake!!! this is a jewel of classic movies... no one can do what Bowie do.

thus, Jim Henson's magic touch can be remaded.

The Labyrinth is one of the greatest fantasy history ever made!!

  • Man, I remember being a kid watching this, the only thing that reminded me of this is Cathedral City Chedds mimicing sir didymus as a mouse! O.o

  • OMG IS THAT A FUSHGI BALL?????

  • Eh...I don't think they should do a remake of this movie, here is why:

    1. Jim Henson and George Lucas made this film.

    2. It's a classic that shouldn't be remade.

    3. No one should never replace David BOWIE.

4.DAVID BOWIE IS HOT IN THIS MOVIE.

  • Heh, takes me back

  • are they really? But it would be awfully bad if they made it cheesy (since Jim Henson is sold to Disney :< ) I'd get crushed if they made a remake and and failed.

  • You remind me of the babe! (made you all nostalgia!)

I was born in 1991 but i watched this for the first time in 1996.. i loved it and i still do. A remake would be good that follows this script beautifully so the more modern crowd can see it.

  • David Bowie = only reason i watch this movie

  • Honestly, I hope they never make a Labyrinth 2. The first one was so good! Its my favorite movie and I'm afraid that if they made another one, they would just ruin it. Who agrees?

  • @Supermac18ROCKS1001

You can't make a Labyrinth 2 at this point, it's over 20 years later, it would just be a remake.

  • No remake needed. True the effects are better today but look at what happens to remakes on the whole. They mostly underachieve the success that the original garnered.

  • "Who are you?" .. "I'm David Bowie, Bitch.."

  • i thought this was about percy jackson an the olympians book 4

  • Bowie sensei has a fushigi :D

  • love that movie = )

  • nyahahaahaa take me bowie you badass xDD

  • it is a great movie i got plple at work to watch it they are fans now. yeah me

  • they should remake this movie although i doubt that anyone could sing or look just as good as david bowie does

  • "The EXCITEMENT of David Bowie," He can excite me anytime. Damn.

  • Bowie is beyond sexy! I have his portrait tattooed on me lol.

  • I haven't seen this. Is Pan's Labyrinth a sequel, a remake or a completely separate movie.

  • @jordan1650 A completely separate movie. Labyrinth is essentially a children's film although one older people can enjoy. Pan's Labyrinth is a sometimes violent story that is definitely not suitable for kids.

  • @werrongboy Oh. Thank you for the information! 8)

  • This is one of my favorite movies, I have the DVD at home. Well it's my sister's movie but I claimed it as mines. This is one of my absolute favorite Jim Henson films along with Dark Crystal.

Although I'm a fan of Tim Burton, the Labyrinth nor any other Jim Henson films (Dark Crystal) shouldn't be touched. His films are perfection and a work of art, it would be blasphemous to remake this just like it would be a sin to remake A Nightmare Before Christmas.

  • "With the excitement of David Bowie"... were they talking about his pants?

  • I used to love this movie when I was a kid. It kinda scared me too but it was too exciting to stop watching

  • Comment removed

  • omg..this was/is/idk my childhood.. i used to love this movie..i need a dvd..omg...better yet..a remake..please, world..remake it! T.T

  • @Julia12P

Do you seriously think a remake could be done to do it justice? A new edit, definitely, but an entire remake? Doubt it.

  • Любимый фильм детства!!! Смотрела бы и смотрела бы )))

  • its amazing!x

  • After rewatching this film as an adult I realized something, this isn't a kids movie. Its a rock opera about the goblin kings love for sara. Think about it, he gave her everything she wanted, and she still rejected him.

  • no remakes. it would lose its bowie magic!

  • As much as I love tim burton, he better not touch a jim henson film.

  • ALRITE FILM!!!

  • zaa best movie everr!

  • What a crappy trailer. :/ As much as I totally love this movie, this trailer wouldn't have excited me too much. :/

  • Hail The Goblin King! :D

  • They shouldn't remake this film. It'd remove everything that's absolutely brilliant about it! I grew up with it and i still adore it.

  • well...hello there bowie's balls...i mean..crystals

  • "Your Highness" probably had the best homage to this film (Sorry "Fat Guy Stuck In Internet"!) although I prefer Leezar (Who was intentionally based on David Bowie/Jareth) over Jareth...

Of course, Jareth was never bossed around by his three mothers and Leezar never tossed babies around.

  • kiramyers12345@ they wouldnt have to be cgi if gueirmo del toro did the movie hes also done pans labyrinth and both hellboys im pretty sure it would be sick.

ps. i dont know how to spell that Mexicans name lol.

  • 0:17 Fushigi!!! Bahaha.

  • David Bowie: The Real Fushigi Master

  • I always thought that man was a girl when I was little.

  • He has a fushigi. :O

  • THUMBS UP IF YOUR BLAZED

  • @gonzprod1 *you're* . and youtube is sick of stoners asking for thumbs from other stoners. go play in traffic

  • I can't believe Tim Burton will ruin this movie for me.... I hate him

  • lol David Bowie created the Fushigi ;D

  • @DragonOmegaX yes yes it is i have in on Blu-Ray

  • i thought bowie was the foot loose guy mmm

  • @primenemisis haha how is return to oz scary?!!!

........actually i just remembered mombie and those heads! and those wheelers as well!! :S

ok i take it back! lol

  • omgggggggg labyrinth!!! i havent seen this since i was a child!! however i remember it being such a good film!!

to say i need to watch this again is an understatement guess i know which film i'm watching now!!

  • This film TERRIFIED me as a child! So scary!

  • I used to hate that my name was Sarah, but ever since I saw this movie I am so glad they named me that c:

  • This used to freak me out as a kid :O

  • The excitment of George Lucus, the Realism of Jim Henson, The 2 inch WANG of David Bowie...

  • Nostalgia boner

  • 0:15 David Bowie has a Fushigi!!

  • fucKKK i used to be terrified of this movie

  • This an The Dark Crystal scared the crap out of me when I was a little kid.

  • I remember when I was little;; like maybe 5 y.o.;; I was SO scared of David Bowie in this movie !! O.O hahaha

But now, I think i'm definitely crazy xD lol

  • :O I remember that movie from my childhood but I didn't know its name until now

  • Cult movie

  • Tim Burton is my favorite director and Helena and Johnny are my favorite actors but I'm reluctant for a remake because the first was so damn good lol but if anyone was to do a remake I'd prefer tim doing it <3 the original will always be the best though. I can't even see johnny as the goblin king because David did auch a psychotically good job. <3 labyrinth. Ok, my rant is done lol

  • @elfenwulf I fully agree with you if they do remake it david would just have to do it... sad thing is the goblins would be cgi

  • @elfenwulf

If anyone remakes it (which will never happen) it would need to be the Jim Henson company, no one else. Nobody wants to see Johnny Depp in white face paint covered in black and white stripes.

  • ITS A FUSHIGI BALL !

  • It's a legit crystal ball... David isn't acually doing it, it's another guy behind him. It's giving an illustion he Is playing with the crystal ball but it isn't even him. I have this movie on DVD and the special features it shows all the tricks in the movie.
