I've been lifting weights , on a machine at work that has several different attachments, I use three different bars and do 50 reps each on 90lbs but,my arm is still not really toned, i feel stronger but my arms are still fat. Looking for arms structure similar to yours. I know this is pretty vague, but could you tell me anything specific to do on those type of machines...its like a bowflex type of machine. not free weights
Every time I see a video from this marvelous woman, I can't help but always be impressed by her physique, her female beauty, her fitness, her personality and the clarity of her videos.
@LastBastionOfTruth Thank you! I have MANY more, but they are not on this channel. Please subscribe to "Made Fit TV". Been posting on that one for two years now : )
I can't say I'd recommend biceps isolation exercise for the sedentary/untrained.
"Muscle failure is oh my gosh I can't do any more." .. "You wanna make sure that you're hitting that that that feeling that you can't do any more and that is the key to building heavier muscle becoming more dense. And more firm and tone."
@dhtmlkitchen I called this the really good arm workout because it's a really good arm workout and not necessarily for beginners. My videos cater to people of ALL fitness levels and some videos are more challenging than others. You seem to have really liked it since you listened and typed out my words verbatim! If you can't find a good workout on this channel you can check out my current channel Made Fit TV.
great! doing it tomorrow, you're a really good trainer. You know, I have a hard time building muscle, im pretty lean right now, like 19%bfat..but...as hard as I work, I can't gain more tone, I've been doing circuit training (like crossfit) with no rest and lots of reps.. do you think it's time to add more weight and incorporate active rests?
@SkmgirlDeni I would recommend that if you want to add more muscle mass and keep your body fat lower, you would want to do the crossfit maybe only once a week and do cardio and strength separate the other days of the week. Yes, increase the weight and to lean up, focus more on your nutrition. I have MANY more videos on these topics on my latest channel "Made Fit TV". Over 100 videos on there, so check it out : )
just a minor question, your 21s are lower, middle, higher -- but I always thought it was supposed to be lower, upper, complete? i've never heard of your variation before
@anichka22 You don't need to worry about that! I am a figure competitor and trainer, so it is part of my job and life. Plus, I have been training for 8 years, so you won't get too large by just lifting weights conservatively and eating right. Also, the camera is deceiving - I am only 4'11" and 108lbs, LOL!
Hey, no worries, anyone can benefit from my videos! But... you may want to check out my latest channel on youtube "Made Fit TV" because I have been posting my videos on that one for over a year now. I have about 70 more videos on that one! LOL! Enjoy : )
Hello Jenny! I want to be fit and GAIN weight - not lose it. I have started doing cardio + weightlifiting but ppl keep saying that i shouldn't do cardio if i want to gain. do you have any suggestions on what exercises i should do? (and I still want to do cardio as i am not that fit)...thanx
If you want to gain, lift weights and make sure you eat frequently. Cardio is still important because it is good for your heart for sure. It also improves your endurance with your weight training. If you feel like it is chipping away at your weight, then lay off slightly. Keep it to 1 1/2 hours per week. I hope that helps!
this is what i do to lose weight except i am doing more cardio. am i doing right? oh and i am curious about when to eat after weight training and cardio. i divide them and workout 6 times a week. if i eat right away will that make me gain weight instead of losing it?
Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I'm so glad you enjoy the videos and that they help you toward your goals : ) I hope you're also subscribed to my channel Made Fit TV. I have dozens more videos on there because that is where I post all of my latest content. Thank you XOXO
I've been lifting for almost 8 years, heavy, because I am a competitor. Also, I am genetically made to put on more muscle because of my body type. You have no control over the shape of your arms. But I would recommend you lift heavier because 5 lb weights will only work for so long until your body gets used to them. Truthfully, you can get slimmer arms by not lifting at all and eating a clean diet. But then if you don't lift weights, you'll get flabby when you age. You don't want that : )
i have a lot of friends (girls) that played sports all their lives and theyre pretty ripped but I think you could crush their skulls haha. its good to see a female actually do anaerobic exercises instead of just running all day until their bodies just look weird and lanky instead of toned and slim
You also need to fully extend your arm in the curl workout otherwise muscle grows inbetween the arm joint next to your bicept making it so your arms cant be fully staight in the future. Just somethin i heard.
Thanks for your concern. What I think you're referring to is something called 'synergistic dominance' where one muscle will compensate for the primary muscle you're intending to isolate. This can occur when too heavy of weight is used leading to improper form. As a result, a secondary muscle will compensate. Over time, this may cause tightening (or lack of extension) if not stretched on a regular basis.
So, bottom line: use proper form with proper weight and stretch.
Any guy that marries you had better be in incredible shape! Maybe have to beat you at pushups and situps? But the line of guys waiting to propose is probably out the door and down the block!
One look at her sexy biceps and I get the urge to drop to one knee and propose.

Tone? Surely you don't mean "pitch"?
