Nice film but the u-flycam didn't do much more stabilizing then what you can achieve with Premiere/AE or FCP. Correct me if I'm wrong though, the footage just didn't seem very fluid when you were following him on the bridge.

@supercooled You are right! This is a cheap instrument, and it wont give you that nice steadicam feel. Stabilizing in post is nice, but you will loose resolution. I prefer a real instrument to achieve a certain effect, and only using sofware for fine tuning. The U Flycam is great for tracking shots, especially with wide lenses. (In this vid we used the "not so wide" sigma 30 1.4 because of the fast aperture)

Nice Camera! I must say I've been able to achieve comparable steady shots using my Cam Caddie Scorpion. It was also very affordable.

Good work! Amazed that you got good results with the UFlycam. Mine was a real lemon. The ball and socket was so poorly machined you could lean it 20 degrees without it correcting itself. In the wind it was unusable...

Super nice. I think the switch between tripod and handheld is ok. Especialy when he walks down the stairs before punsh. You can clearly see the moving of the actor so you get focus on it. Anyway i am no professional just my opinion.

@CaptHowdyFCS Simply because they capture a feeling I never really liked. A bit amateurish frankly, I would have preffered regulary ordinary hand-held. It's not your shots particulary, I just don't like tripod shots in general.

@Dartaneonknight Yes I did! Thanks! Lenses: Sigma 30mm 1.4 (80%) , Canon 18-55 IS (all the wide shots) , Canon 50mm 1.8 MkI (just the ultra close up of smoking)

@CaptHowdyFCS Yea that Sigma 30mm 1.4 is a beast of a lens. I recommended the Tamron 17-50 2.8 VC also.

nade kérem.... ennél azért többet vártam. Ez a story megtörtént millio emberrel M.o-n, ha csak ez volt a cél akkor oksi, de ezért kár volt leforgatni szerintem. Csak azért írom ezeket, mert egyébként nagyon tetszik a stílus és a megvalósítás is, csak történtileg kár volt ennyiben hagyni szerintem! Csak így tovább! :)
