I'm thankful that these are shared for all to see. So much congenial and informative than Dr. Brown vs Shmuley Boteach, but alas, such days are bygone.
I'm also thankful that Rabbi LaPide emphasizes the difference between Greek and Hebrew thought modes -- another set of videos that goes into this is Brad Scott's (of Wild Branch Ministries) Biblical Hebrew Lessons, a few hours of which are here on youtube, and recommended.
The Rabbi actually validates the Word that the Jew is cut off.And that Christ did not yet fulfill the law is true Because the kingdom age will complete the law for the Jew.But he is wrong because it is Jesus Christ fulfilling.
I think this would have been more interesting and helpful if they could have gotten a Rabbi who didn't except that Jesus was resurrected or that He was the fulfillment of any OT scriptures or a forerunner of the Messiah. This is more a debate between Christianity and one Rabbi's views rather than Orthodox Judaism. These aren't the arguments you would get from most Orthodox Jews. And I'm saying this as a Christian by the way.
