  • omg!!! this was great! what do u think about mix'n it wit some white chocalate also..? maybe make some with white and then some with brown chocalate!

    lol

  • I am so happy you made this video! I was gonna get a girl I like some from Gertrude Hawk and on their site it says its 34.99$ for 7 strawberries! that's 5$ for one strawberry! Im definitely gonna do this

  • I love you....Marry Me...lol

  • I love this vid! easy way to make them :)

    yummy!

  • Thank you!

  • why they a;way need cocnut i hate cocnut!!

  • cool down lil mama, you can use someting else.

How about some rice coco crispies ,coco puffs or maybe you could finally dice some pull-and-peels and dip it in that.

Relax, the world truly is your oyster.

  • hmm, i tried this, but without the coconut or almonds, and i held it by the leaf and it came off, then the strawberry was in the chocolate. if this happens to you, you can stick a toothpick to replace it, though its not the best. i used a shish-kabob stick, it was fantastic :]

  • Very nice. If you have the time, though, I'd strongly recommend toasting the coconut to bring out the flavor just a little bit more.

  • Im geting hungry..thank u!

  • i like strawberries...

  • i never thought of using that reusable parchment paper. what i do is stick a toothpick in the strawberry cap, and place it upside down into a sheet of thick styrofoam. this way i can decorate all around the strawberry, (not just one side) and the whole thing dries sorta standing up..clean and neat and yummy! i will def use coconut on my next batch though! thanxxx!

  • yummy that looks good

  • mmm.. it looks so delicious :D i think i´m going to do this.. good job and say hello from me to USA :D

  • Hey, I just wanted to say that if you ever want to get that icky green leaf out, just take a straw and pierce the strawberry through the bottom, and it will get the green out. Great recipe by the way!

  • hi, just wondering if i dont have a baking shee.......where am i to put those, i noe the best answer is to buy one but.......i cant find it.....+_+.....and what will happen if i add some whipped cream to the chocolate?

  • You can use a piece of waxed paper on a plate and the whip cream would probably make the chocolate airy and like frosting!

  • Yummy

  • Could I add some peanut or soybean oil to the chocolate? Most of the 5 star restaurants that have a chocolate fountain I know stick some oil just to make it a bit smoother but I'm not sure if freezes as well.

What I usually do is microwave a bowl of chocolate with some oil in in it while its standing on another bowl or a deep plate filled with water so it gives it a kind of steaming effect. :\

  • Hmmmm...I would imagine the oil allows the chocolate to stay really shiny after it has set, but I personally have never tried it. I think they are perfectly d'lishes as is:)

  • try chocolate covered stawberries with nuts...hmm.. i wonder how that would taste

  • Microwave chocolate, you can, but you will burn it Danispies' way is safer, and it' s soo true, you can't let a drop of water into the choc...it is ruined! Choc is tricky stuff. I made a few hundred of these for a wedding, dipped in dark choc, then half in milk, and the tip in white, rolled in all sort of stuff, and I hung them from photo clips in the cold outdoors, wouldn't do that most days in Oz. Don't think they worked as a sexual attraction. Hum,not for me, and not at that wedding!

  • I wish we all had that much space in the fridge HEHEHE. Wonderful job Dani!

  • Thank you so much I tried it and it was obviously. We had the left over chocolate with Icecream and that was quite delicious as well.

  • You are welcome!!! I'm so happy you enjoyed them!

  • Ughh!! Those Look sooo good (without the coconuts and almonds) I gonna go get some now:D But Why Cant You Just Microwave the chocolate?

  • You can!

  • What kind of bowl do you use? Doesn't glass or plastic or whatever it's made of melt?

  • glass doesn't melt at the temperature. when the water starts boiling you lower the heat to medium and put the cup on top of it and melt the chocolate

  • Thanks ^^

  • i'd love to dunk her in some chocolate. i'll bet she tastes heaps better than strawberries.

  • i love cholocalate covered strawberries, looks yummy! DON'T LIKE COCOnut or nuts on them!!! ONLY CHOCOLATE.

  • yummy
