Some lyrics I wrote for this piece... Well, the Cornish hens, they danced all night 'Neath the light o' the Cornwall moon.. Yeah, the pretty young hens danced to and fro To the drone o' the fiddle and bow... Then they danced some more Til their thighs got sore To the pluck of the old ban-jo... When a big red rooster come struttin-about Investigating the clamor, The Cornish hens let go a shout, "Won't you play some more claw-hammer!"
