@BJCHESTER I know this is a 7-month old comment I'm replying to, but there's no story out there that's dedicated to Bruce training. The closest thing is Batman Year One. There's a billion random stories out there that have random and brief flashbacks to brief moments of his training. Bruce travelled the world learning every martial art, training his mind and body to it's VERY PEAK and that's all you need to know.
@VsxFedora There IS s story where batman is training and it is a very obscure story called The Man Who Falls and it's collected in the Batman Begins comic.
lol DAMN! what a way to die. Batman punches you a little bit too hard, you fall in a pit of acid and you die. Not only that but Batman doesn't give it a second thought.
I haven't picked these up yet, but I have some of the newspaper dailies and they're sweet. It's so much fun to read the old school stuff and it really makes you think about how far this character's come along.
there is more than six volumes and i may be wrong but i heard batman chronicles is going to reprint all golden age and silver age batman comics. am i right or wrong
I thought it was really funny that in one issue they have Dr Death. And then the next issue there's something nefarious going on and Batman is like "It must be my nemesis Dr. Death"
its the story of how james gordon and batman became friends. it's also in the middle of the knightfall series kinda like the fear the reaper was in the middle of long Halloween and the dark victory. it's REALLY good you should pick it up
Have you read the "Boner" issue where Joker attempts to give Batman the biggest "boner" of his life? :) It was funny.
LOL @ "Batman doesn't really outright kill anyone........except for at one point he did hang someone......he'll punch someone so hard it'll knock someone off a building.....or they fell into a pit of acid".
you got it a bit wrong,
it is ALL the PRE-crisis issues that batman appears in and they may do pro crisis
and YES batman DID KILL on purpose in 1939 and early 1940 comics

What comics are about Bruce Wayne, when he's training to become batman? I mean like with the league of Assassins.
