Wow man, that is absolutely awesome, I've been sculpting on everything from auto interior pieces to gas tanks, can I ask what medium you used for the actual sculpting?
i'm building myself a custom kind of chopper. But i also want to do a 3D iron cross (outer lines) on my gastank but i don't know how to start with it. I have a big jar of epoxy. Although you use fiberglass i think you use epoxy too. Can you give me a tip how to begin on my 3D form?
It is a work of art that should never be allowed to be put in a museum, it has a better place, called "the road" where everyone could see it in motion and for what it really it. :D
Great work, dont know what to say other than that.
Wow...very original for a man of your age. Speaks volumes of your intellect. I own more bikes than you've ridden...Harley or otherwise. You are what we call ROLEX RIDERS....older guys that can FINALLY afford to FINANCE a big hog...oooh. When it breaks down...it will be a "weenie" bike guy like me that YOU PAY to fix it while your over-sized wife stuffed into $900 of "Harley" leather whines cause she's hungry and bored...nuff said. Got balls? Race your for titles....street or strip boss.
It took me a while to save up for a Harley. That has nothing to do with how much work went into making ANY bike into a sick work of art.Keep at it John-you could make a Yugo look good enough for both of us to hit a Taco Bell drive-thru and get some special sauce for grand-daddy dipping! As always- THE BEST!!
Thanks a lot Randy...your a cool mo fo bro ! I really appreciate all the support and feedback. I have a project that I know will be right up your alley...I hope. Watch for next reply.
you are a great artis, amazing work. I building 54 gmc rat, after i saw you bike i wanna try blend the bones to the dash, i need you help, what plaster did you use to blend the ribs to the metal, please if can
great job, fine art, one question what plaster did you used to blend the bones to the metal please if you can. I'm build a 54 gmc rat and i wanna try blend bones to the dash.tks
that is by far the coolest bike i have ever seen. did that start out as a v-rod? why did you choose those wheels? they seem kind of blah compared to the rest of the bike. anyway ... beautiful detail, OCC ain't got nothin on you.
Your bikes our just amazing how many hours went into this one? I've seen a lot of bikes with a lot of detail but your work is totally in a class by it self. Your like Rodin with your own "Gates of Hell" on wheels. What does one of these one off jobbers go for?
wow i kinda miss the rear fender but i can see why you didnt put one on. i gotta ask though, when you finish a bike do you walk around for 3 days slapin strangers screamin "king kong aint got shit on me!" ? caus if you dont i hope you know that alot of us think you would be well within your rights as a creator of art.
No,haven't gone that route yet. GREAT thought tho...LOL. BUT i do love to apply to cemetaries and elder care centers for jobs...man, old people move quick with the RIGHT motivation. NOTHING like sitting in front of an old folks home and seeing DEATH himself coming at ya...surreal.
