One of if not the best show ever. The actors were some of the best ever. The NAACP messed up working to get Amos and Andy taken off just like they did with Shirley Sherrod. They owe it to these great performers to try to get them the accolades they so richly deserve.
I love it! Sapphire tried to cover it by saying you were working but that brought the house down. That is priceless...we all know the Kingfish would never do something like work...now sleeping is another story. I love this show.
I remember when those proto "PC" clowns in the NAACP yanked it circa 1964 from syndication.
This series was 20 years before All in the Family and Sanford and Son, only not as edgy.
It deserves more respect.
