You need to have your plates at least 80 feet in the air. Your ground rod should be at least 5 feet in the ground.

so it should work..i would use stainless steel,although i would ideally go with GOLD...but copper is just as good as gold as afr as conducting electricity is concerned but with using copper outside as a antannea it would eventually oxidize and turn green and possible erode...so i would go stainless stainless or if using copper shield it/amalgamate it to protect it from the weather conditions..

You should put diodes also between your plate...so if one of them if receiving power from it while the other one is not (or less), it won't interfere. Does that make sense? Also, geranium diodes are consuming less voltages.

I just built my capacitor of two aluminum 6" square plates, sandwiched between a 1/8" thick sheet of Plexiglas. I get more voltage this way verses much larger individual plates. That is until the storm cloud rolled in. My cap began to discharge and the polarity shifted. Is anyone else doing this, can you confirm the polarity shift? I need a tighter gap, I'll try paper next. But I'm peaking at 500mv till the cap discharges. Nothing but a DVOM to cap and ground. Direct sun light works best for me.

Thanks for the reply, I have since switched to a/c since the earth and the stars prefer this frequency verses DC. With a piece of stainless steel tinfoil of 6"x6" @ a distance of 32' off the ground, I get consistent voltage of 7 vac with no cap! Just my meter between the plate and ground with a thin tiny plate and no covering what so ever. But as I take this plat higher, the voltage drops.

There is a happy medium here which seems to have something to do with density and resonant frequency. But again I'm using Stainless Steel Tin Foil, nothing more. There is serious potential here, but sunlight actually hurts me the way I'm doing it now. I get more at night, without the sun, verses what I got with the cap that I built.

I got some aluminum foil from the store and put it on my roof just on the ground.. My roof is about 100 ft high (in manhattan) maybe 1' by 1 piece of foil. I am only getting 40uA for current and something around .3 vac. This is after grounding the piece of foil to a piece of metal. If I don't ground the foil i get more like a volt but only 3uA (not enough current to electricute an ant).. other than that I got my copper pipe grounded and I am using phone wire.. I'm using phone wire also, my ground rod is bar aluminum about 10" into the earth. I found that with a 6"x6" piece of stainless steel tinfoil @32' from ground, I get a steady 7.34 vac. If I go up higher to 35' I lose voltage. There seems to be a sweet spot. If your up 100' try bringing your foil down while watching your meter so you can find your peak voltage. There does seem to be a great deal of tuning involved in this experiment. I think it's something to do with resonance of the material.

can you tell me what is that wave? i bet your getting lots of stuff, not just one single signal but tons like static. there should be a way to filter the stuff with caps and inductors to squeeze more than 1V/day.

yeah, i think it's white noise mostly. you know, white noise (band of basically DC) with noise on top, which is what you're charging the caps with.

Anyway, well done, you're trying different geometry. Yes, and it needs a filter. Just try sticking in an inductor and a cap to ground (like a T). That alone's gonna filter out bunch of noise and give you more AC swing to power the caps. It would be good to "tune" it though to get the max.

I personally have done this with a scope. It's weird to say the least, and I can't help but wonder if I'm picking up scalar waves or a combination of radio/scalar waves. It's a bizzar wave form for sure, but it is steady which makes me wonder. I don't have enough room to say much more then this. But this guy in the video is on to something! I've done it and can confirm his basic results. The higher you go, the more voltage you get, but the wave form remains the same. It's interesting at least.

i would expect tons of white crap there. it has to be from all the garbage they're pumping out. radio, tv, wifi, etc. the scope's triggering on something but it's interesting to see whats out there and then filter appropriately to get the biggest -+ swing for the caps.

It's a sine wave with a sawtooth mixed in depending on the scope setting. on a 10mv scale @ 5ms I get a repeating peak of about 65 on the DC setting. The sawtooth is steady state but needs a greater division @ .5ms with a peak of about 12. But it follows the sine wave curve in fluctuation. I'm no master with a scope, but I've done my best to screw up this experiment and I still come out ahead. I can do this bassakwards and still get positive voltage to the caps. I have a TEK2235 scope.

Also, I've gone up about 100' off the ground with a much smaller plate then shown in this video. The higher you go, the more voltage you get. BUT, polarity does seem to change under certain weather conditions. When a storm rolls in, the polarity shifts. I wish I could sit down with Tesla for just one hour. Maybe I'm wrong, but I view this resonance factor as the source of 'tuned' energy. Just like a Tesla coil must be tuned to function, so must all things to reach max potential and efficiency. But like splitting water with electrolysis, you only get so far until you breach the point of resonance, then you begin to mass produce! I believe most if not all things work this way. when we match the resonance of the star to the earth, we get what? The 'what' is the question.

When I measure the wave form, I'm doing this with just a plate of galvanized steel @ 17" x 7". It's nothing but scrap that I had laying around. I've tried it insulated and bare. The wave for changes intensity, but remains the same. This tells me that the energy is real, it's available, but give me the question as to how best to tap into it. Personally, I don't care if it's scalar or other. I only care that this energy is there, it does exist. Now, how do I use it?

I commend what your doing. The more of us that run our own home based experiments, the better off we all will be. I think you will get better results if you sandwich two plates together with laminate on only one side of one plate, try different gaps. Your building a capacitor then, and size will also matter. My idea is to build a cap that peaks around 8hz, at that point your resonant with the earth. I haven't done it yet successfully, but I'm trying. Maybe you can help.

It does nothing to ground the caps separately. Unless you use 2 different ground points at major distance apart. But that which I just described comes into OHM's law (theory). Ground potential is just that. Electron flow and radiation is something entirely different. Experiment! That is the point. Try it your way, then try it ours, then use it to come up with better ideas. You should be able to google it and find it all over the web and discussions about it. im also planning further modifications on this circuit.Tom Bearden describes that employing an interrupter(on and off) switch before the rectifier would increase the charging. Hence,the caps would charge faster with more accumulated electrical energy.

its all about collecting cosmic rays/static charge. its a new way of harnessing energy from chraged particles. i reinvented teslas 1901 patent, the utilization of radiant energy. no they have to be insulated, watch the other videos in order to get a better understanding. i hope you try it out and tell me what you get for results. i think copper plates will give a better result but cost to much for me. the big picture is to help people gain knowledge to make this themselves, for their homes.

i am still testing it out. three plates seems to be adding an additional .4-.5 volts a day. its still a very weak process cause i dont have everything i need, in about another week im going to start working on a better charging/discharging circuit so i can charge a simple battery to start useful application, then ill post it for people to follow. its believe that this was the basis of teslas wardencliff tower which was shut down bec of no funding 100 yrs ago. i really hope u try it out!

Check this out. Can your hand pass through metal? Well neither can electricity! This means it only flows between metal and the insulation. So if you have ANY exposed metal, it can theoretically SIPHON charge from the immediate atmosphere. Hence RADIANT energy. yea, its funny you said that because i talked with a professor/scientist and he said that theretically metal has infinite energy, he called it black body radiation. he said scientist created a strange graph curve that showed there is infinite energy, its just it has to be tapped somehow.

i got enough to light a LED and make a sound on the buzzer in 4 days 4.6 v. i added another plate and it showed that on third day of both experiments,2 plates, now 3 plates, i have and increase of about .4v!

but you need not to insulate the plates...

You need to have 2 metal plates onto

a high voltage electret foil in the center...

This way the metal plates are always charged to high voltage and attract free electrons and free ions from the air which charge your caps much better.

Also don´t use LEDs as they have a much too high threshold voltage.

Use very fast shottky diodes like the MUR4xxxx

series..
