Great demo! You went through many if not all the capabilities and have got me interested in grabbing one of these. I hope you make more. Thanks and cheers!
LMFAO! Yeah, that other guy looks like Satan. I couldn't really concentrate on his demo because of that. I'm going to get this pedal to do some Radiohead covers.
Way too processed for my liking. I've got the phase shifter but keep it really simple. It works great when enriching the clean sound rather than supplanting it. Trust your original guitar and amp rather than hoping your pedals will find your sound.
You left out what may be it's most useful function. It allows you to drop the entire guitars pitch. Handy for a tune that is a full step down without changing instruments.
I like you review REALLY! But...that said... I wonder why you guys don't wear a fucking pair of sock or...even better...a pair of damn shoes :) just kidding with ya btw :) great review...sure is better than Mr. Lucifer's one on WMS :D
@AlexMarkScott76 I agree.. Toes kinda gross me out.. so seeing a close up of them I could do without.. Nice video review though. The flutter effect needs to be used very modestly.. only a few steps like a Bigsby or something. but yeah, limited usage.
@AlexMarkScott76 I agree.. Toes kinda gross me out.. so seeing a close up of them I could do without.. Nice video review though. The flutter effect needs to be used very modestly.. only a few steps like a Bigsby or something. but yeah, limited usage.
@PhantomOnTheHorizon - I appreciate that and didn't mean to be rude. I was just wondering if perhaps it might've been a bit more concise. Perhaps a bit of on-screen text that goes in correspondence with what is being demonstrated.
@PhantomOnTheHorizon I happened to quite like all the explanation. it really helped me understand this pedal.. even though I only use mine for whammy raises...
@b1g3ar555 You can get a Digitech RP-90 multi expression pedal, which functions as a multi effects processor, and includes a whammy expression pedal. which can be used for was, yah, octave and two octave, as well as other functions once they're applied. It's £110 compared to £200, which I find awesome.
I got a question: I got a pitch shifter in my peavey vypyr 30w but it somehow really cuts out the whole tone during shifting. It really doesn't sound very good.
I'm using a Boss metal core ML-2 pedal for additional gain.
I'd like a pedal to just downtune my guitar without having to put thicker strings on it and stuff you know. Is the Behringer one good for this purpose?
I'm thinking of buying this pedal, but is this pedal able to give the effect of like 2 guitars playing, being able to hear your guitar and the effect making the note higher with a half step, a step, etc. at the same time?
@PhantomOnTheHorizon hello...I'm a bout to buying one,but first I would to know if the bheringer has the "3 voice harmonizer" (like the boss Hr-2)...if yes,how to to use it?in the boss there are two knobs for the respective other two voices...but in this?
@PhantomOnTheHorizon Tell me about it. The blue light on my mixer board is seriously blinding. I can't read anything in a 2 inch radius of it if I don't put my finger over it.
@PhantomOnTheHorizon blue LED's are naturally brighter than red ones anyway(i own a few mxr pedals and the black label chorus has a blue led which is brighter than my mxr phaser and evh flanger
Thing is i wanna get this pedal but i dunno if itll last that long wid it bein plastic casing btw live the paranoid android riff on 5:10 which reminds me would this pedal be able to give me a pitch shifting sound identical to the one at the beginning of my iron lung?
you need an expression pedal to use it as a cheap whammy replacement, right? I've heard that volume pedals don't work with this behringer (at least not as expression pedals), so what kind of exp pedals do? And I mean the cheap sort of them, cause if the expression pedal would be expensive, then I guess I could buy used digitech whammy as well.
@b1g3ar555 additionally, you can buy an expression pedal for maybe $40 that is supposed to function the same way as the whammy's expression controller.
Hey dude, I have noticed on the Harmonist setting changing the HR key doesnt seem to take any effect on the sound, can you explain it further? (Just got the pedal haha) I have it setup to the video but when I change the HR Key it doesnt sound any different? Thanks
@b1g3ar555 Yes you can. If you select the 'trem bar' mode, and set the speed knob to the appropriate time, when holding down the pedal and letting go it can replicate the sound of a Digitech Whammy.
@PhantomOnTheHorizon I see u have a cable plugged into the expression pedal outlet, does it change the operation of the "trem bar" setting when ur using an expression pedal or do u still use the speed knob with it?
@bubbabeau07 I don't have any cable plugged into the exp/ctl outlet, the black cable at the right is the power supply and the green cable underneath simply goes into the In A. However, you are right, an expression pedal will function on the trem bar setting as well as the speed knob.
Hi PhantomOnTheHorizon, that was great! We're glad for the including of the BEHRINGER US600 on your video. More power to you and we look forward to see more from you. Thanks!
