Doing a pull-up is quite similar to doing a lat pull down on the machine or cables of of your total bodyweight. I would suggest the best way to get there is to forget about the pull up bar and work out on the lat pull down machines doing decent sets, really push yourself and there is no reason why you will not be able to gradually increase the weight every week or so till you can manage at least a rep at your bodyweight, then you will be ready for the pull up bar. You have beautifil sleek powerful arms,and back! Your workouts are definitely working. Occasionally try an isometric one rep hold at the halfway point or at the top for time. The muscle will grow fastest when it is pushed to total failure three times and then totally rested 24hrs. Looking really good! 5+ stars
