Most cold starts really don't stand out, but this one I especially liked, sounds pretty nice. I have kind of a stupid question, why had it not been run in two years?
@blindmotorhead I had been away from home and had the lawn cut by a lawn crew, and during the winter it sat, until that first start. Thanks for the nice comment, and no that was not a stupid question.
Strange. Are you using the glow plugs? We have a 1994 Kubota 16 HP 3 cylinder diesel engine, and it starts perfectly, even at -4*F. I have a video of it. I'll post it as a response.
I think my battery is bad. It seems to never carry a charge unless its warmer out. I have a wet battery by kubota. What kind of Battery are you using? I am using the glow plugs, but I haven't used them for a minute like your video. I know that the light goes out, but I believe it will still continue to heat???
We use an Interstate battery in ours. About the glow plugs, yes. Even if the light goes out, it will continue to heat the preheat the engine. Try it sometime and let me know what happens.
thats a nice tractor you've got there =) i like the orange its my country's collor :)

Have to use Diesel 911 in the winter. I've started mine (g1800) in -20F before with only glow plugs for 15 seconds.

What the fuel gelled ?

I think the fuel did gel. I finally put some anti-gel in the tank, and ran it through.

Just so you know I'm not talking about you in my video of coldstarting the Kubota at -4*F. I'm talking about another guy.
