The only reason those two idiot Salvatores were able to take out several werewolves was because the werewolves couldn't transform without the moon. If it weren't for that pesky limitation, vamps would be off the face of the earth in a matter of days. Besides, in this scene, those two morons were as good as dead had it not been for Dr Martin. For the record, Stefan kills Dr Martin a couple of episodes later, after Dr Martin saved his pathetic life here (??)
