Hey, I just got a 2 gig macbook with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

and I just ordered city of heroes mac edition.

I was just wondering if anyone knew how well it will run for me.

There should be no problems, CoH requires 2,0 GHz with IC2D to play nice...then with 2,4 should be good. I have CoH/CoV but for PC, and now i download Mac version coz Mac's r da best;)

Who said mac is the best for games? None of Apples commercials are saying so. Mac is really good for everyday thing. With todays graphic cards they are even good platforms for games, on OSX or bootcamped windows. Its a fact that more games are coming out for windows then Mac OSX.

@RE4boyo bc a good part of the gaming world uses windows, and to make a mac version the code for the games need to be rewired as it were... same concept for video games coming out for xbox and ps3... it takes a longer time and more money most companies dont want to pay

Considering the models and textures don't get higher quality than that in-game, I highly doubt your game looks better than that. Maybe it's a different story when you factor in bloom and an environment with lighting, but that's what the models look like and that's as detailed as they are.

It is kinda weird that the graphics look so bad here. My in-game graphics look 100 times better than this video. You'd think they'd turn the graphics all the way up to make the video...

Btw, CoH graphics > WoW graphics, by far

graphics may look bad , but if you are looking for fun and content , this is the game. at least you dont need to be level 165 and dont need too many item grinding to be usefull as your friends.
