If the world belongs to Allah, then peoples of those lands must surrender to Allah, which means they must accept Islam. Which means, Dar ul Kufr must be converted into Dar ul Islam, i.e Kafir must be eliminated or converted.

Religion can be a high in a way, I remember hearing an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi talk about when he first came to Hebron he was on a spiritual high, but when that finally wore off he began to see some Jews that he was friends with justify killing civilians and this dramatically changed his perceptions of God and the Jewish faith.
