  • @JacksonX94 METALLICA !!! YEAHHH

  • @wirHASSENstyler METALLICA!!! none of this J****n B****r sh*t.

  • dude... i'm thinking about getting one of these...

right now i'm running through a marshall valvestate 2x12 combo and i'm thinking about getting a 4x12 extension cab and then a marshall half stack when i get the money so i'll have a full stack.

    any advice anybody?

  • shit I need one of those half stacks...I've been using a shitty bass amp ever since I started playing guitar, which was fucking 4 YEARS AGO.

  • dude this may sound like a stupid question but i jus recently bought the Marshall 100 HDFX head k heres the question: HOW THE HELL DO YOU USE THE EFFECTS LOOP? WHAT DOES IT EXACTLY DO? IS IT A LOOP MACHINE TYPE OF THING? well that several but jus thought you would know

  • its for putting effects pedals in

so you would go send - pedal(s) return

    And thats pretty much it

rather than running the pedals upfront

  • how much is this one?

  • how do i get the scream??? god i have the same exact amp but i cant get the scream out of my guitar...

  • dude its called artificial harmonics i think and i think it depends on how hot your pick-ups are check out pinch harmonics lesson by rockon good people

  • JUMP IN THE FIRE!!

  • @o0oFIZZLEo0o please check my video testing this amp with some metallica riffs

  • please answer my guitar setup sounds like shit i cant geta metal sound out of it at all do i need a better amp or guitar?

  • that depends on what kind of guitar you have your amp is also another factor that determines the sound your getting

  • what kind of guitar and amp do you have?

  • could you play a medium sized gig with that thing?

  • u could do any gig with that thing

  • haha indeed

  • that jump in the fire on the overdrive the first section

  • i need help. I can't decide weather 2 buy a Vox vt50 or this. Someone please help me with this

  • buy this! vox Hell no! this is louder and better tone...marshalll for sure!

  • aww i have to wait til mid july to get this, i cant wait!!

  • I have the same half stack.

Love the amp and i will keep it for a very long time.

  • Is it very loud?? ;D

  • yeah its 120 watts

  • I know but... compare to something ;D

  • u know how treble tones dont make that rumble a bass can? this makes that rumble by pure volume! (my friend has a 120 watt amp) makes the windows and floor shake!

  • actually, i think its only 100 watts

  • Head - 100W

    Cab - 120W

  • what pickups do you use?

  • Jump in the fire!

  • how big is it

    is it pretty small

  • this one's not as big as others, but it's LOUD AND MEAN!!!!!!!!

  • is it a tube amp or solid amp?

  • hi, it is solid state.

  • I got this amp and it gives you great bang for your buck. It can easily blast over a band. The distortion isn't that great, so I use a few pedals. I run my guitar through a crybaby wah pedal, then through a Boss MetalZone, then through a Boss Blues Driver pedal and that blues driver pedal does a great job of emulating a tube sound out of this amp.

  • dude that was sick! ive been thinking about getting this and that made up my mind lol, now just need to get the cash.....

  • you can get the settings off of the marshall wesbite in the downloads section

  • did you get a footswitch with it ??

  • I don't think so, but I'm sure you can buy one at guitar center for like 15 or so bucks.

  • If you don't mind my asking, would you please tell me what our Overdrive settings are?

  • cool, but the clean tone's kinda bassy, im a line 6 fan, but i like marshall too

  • if you would allow ratings it would get a definite 5 *

  • why do people thik this amp sucks so much i think its a pretty good amp

  • especially for the price.

  • METALLICA!

  • Would I be able to plug in my g10 mk. ii practice amp into just the cab?

  • if your prac amp is only 10 watt, it wont be enough to power the speakers bro, i have a 65 watt and it can only power 2 speakers at once

  • the settings for your overdrive chanel**

  • nice tone!! i got the same amp what is your settings??

  • MARSHALL ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i got my marshal for 300 bucks baby!Marshall owns!

  • is it a good amp for metal/heavy metal?

  • ya my friend has one plays a lot or pantera

  • it cost $599.00

  • how much does one this amp cost?

  • if its on sale at some places you can get it for $299.00

  • what pickups does your guitar have?

  • Hi, for everybody who doesn't know this amp: first of all: BUY IT! It's a great amp! After buying it take your time. It has a lot of knobs, and you need hours and hours to find all the things that this amp can do. While playing take a few meters distance. It's a non ventilated cabinet, which means that from some distance the sound is very diferent. The crunch is a switch on the clean channel that makes it sound like the old JCM 800's. ACDC, Slash, Jimi Page and Hendrix. This amp does it all!

  • Hey how do you like this thing...I'm not so interested in higher notes my bag is all about crunch...I want that chug that makes your balls vibrate...ya know...does this do the job?? I mean being a solid state amp...obviously it's not being compared to a tube amp...

  • I havn't played this exact amp. But to get a "vibrate ya balls" chug, use it on teh clean channel with the low/bass knob anywhere between 7 and 10. The High/Trebble knob between 5 and 7. and the Middle knob at 10 (Havning lots of mids means that the sound will carry better and you'll be able to be heard over a band etc). Then use a distortion pedal such as:

    Behringer Ultra Metal (UM300)

    Boss Metalzone

    Boss Metalcore

You a good thing to do would be run it through a noise gate. :)

  • i wonder if you can buy this and then later buy an extension cab and make it a full stack, saves about 1g?

  • yep!!!...XD...you can

  • these amps kick ass if u use a MXR 10 band EQ Pedal....was just wounderin if u used one I do n it sounds so bad ass

  • NOPE!!!...i know for a fact that it is 100% marshall's kick ass tone, and quality...besides...i use it every weekend at church!!!

  • how did he change channel quickly without using a pedal??? lol sorry im a noob cause i only use practice amp...T.T tips plz im looking for a good amp....

  • he uses a marshall footswitch that dosent change the sound just the channel

  • its called a footswitch...

  • Please Help Me Out, What Did You Have The Clean and OD set at on this amp, i can't get my amp to sound as good as you had this one, i play a schecter hellraiser EMG 81/85

  • i play out of 3 half stacks (MARSHALL 2 1982 JCM800'S A MG100HDFX)and i have a few more amps but the marshalls i use mostly.i run the MG100HDFX together with the JCM800'S and its a perferct combination kicks major ass and delievers every time.

  • which are instructions from your amp please tell me!! please :]

  • jump in the fire by metallica..nice.

  • What settings did you have the OD on in this video? I just got the same half stack and am still messing with all the options. Sounds awesome!

  • set everything to 12 o'clock and then mess with the settings. As in give more and take away what it needs in your opinion.

  • What kind of guitar do you play?

Also, does this come with a foot switch?

  • I'm guessing he plays some kind of ibanez

  • cant u read he says his playing a washburn.

  • yes it comes with a footswitch to turn the effecvts on and off and the od on and off

  • sounds good dude.

  • dude when u try to buy this thing it gives u to cab options which one is slant?

    well wats the significant difference?

  • slanted cab goes ontop, flat cab is the base

  • the slanted cab is made to project the sound further. While the straight cab plays it straight out the slanted cab will project some of the sound upwards and further outwards.

  • i got this amp for $499.99 @ guitar center's green tag sale and i absolutely luv this amp

  • Best tone I've heard on an MG. Every other tone I've ever heard is HORRIBLE, so you did a good job bro.

  • 320E

  • Hey man

    Sweet sound

    it would be easy

if you should give names of songs...

just on the info thing or so..

So whe can get the tabs for it :d

    Love the marshall MG 100Hdfx + Mg412A

  • still aint sure about those solid state marshalls , cool playin tho

  • Very nice series of videos of this amp. I've owned it for well over a year now and it hasn't let me down. If anybody else is looking for sound clips of this amp, you can hear it in all my videos. Sounds great for Sabbath and like styles of music. Again, nice videos.

  • are these range of marshall amps good for playing metal?

  • should i get this or the vs100? (and wat song is at 32 sec?)

  • jump in the fire- metallica- kill em all

  • is this thing good for shows?can it easily overpower drums and such?

  • never done a show with mine, but it would quite easily overpower drums. i knocked a picture of my wall with this amp, its one of the louder halfstacks ive played.

  • wats the difference between Angled and Stright cab?

  • angled cabs are made to project the sound to head level, to make it easier to hear. if you get just a halfstack, most ppl suggest getting the slant, then if you wanna make it a full stack from bottom up go straight, slant, head.

  • The price :d

    lol

  • I'm pretty sure that's $599.99, but i could be wrong.

  • Jump In The Fire!! Nice man

  • Nice playing man I dont even have any advice keep it up :)

    ƒ♪♪♪♫

  • yeah i got that amp. sik.

  • so everything i see comes together or bought seperate?

  • together

  • Man! I really like these Marshall MG100HDFX heads!! I just put up a video of me playing mine through my 1960AV cab. I think you're getting really close to a JCM 800 tone in this video!! Sounds GREAT!!

  • nice playing dude

  • Is this good for AC/DC type tone...I meen...I already have a plexi...but i'm lookin for a less 'fragile' amp. My plexi's are pretty old ;P

  • amazing how you let your guitar sream :o

  • hey man tell what you think of my demo please,,,,i just got it it really is amazing isint it?!

  • i am sooo buying that head now.....

  • its $350 for the head or $600 for the halfstack

  • nice. is that amp a tube or not. leave a comment on my page telling me. thanks man. nice playing.

  • THIS AMP SOUNDS sweet with a 1960 vintage cab

  • is this a tube or valve amp or is this a normal amp?

  • Solid state

  • is this amp good for gigs?

  • what are gigs ? :$

  • LOL!

  • live shows

  • YES, True Marshall TONE !!!

No Valvestates, Suckss A Lot,, I've One and I want to Sell ..

    Buy MG Series

  • good transistor amp

    sorry i'm french

  • thats a great amp

  • Im getting this stack just cause of the price and its ecent range, btw got some nice pinch harmonics in some of those rifts nice.

  • im considering getting one of these, just curious--how big is it? like height, width and all

  • It's basically the same size as a Marshall half-stack. Go to your local music store, and look at a Marshall half-stack.

  • its smaller than the 1960's cabs and the head is way smaller than any other head but this is a good thing cos u can get it around much easier. only problem i have is that it has no wheels but u can fix ur own on.

  • Thanks, Nice!

  • the mg is a good amp in comparison to a marshall dsl or tsl which are the ambolute shiz in my opinion. it has a warm tube like crunch on the overdrive which is what marshall is mainly known for. the clean is pritty good too but id say the AVTX amps are better.

  • I used to adopt the tube-whore mentality and thought the AVT was better since it has a preamp tube(the rest of the preamp is solid state BTW). I realized the MG overall sounds better, it doesn't get muddy or lost in the mix like the AVT does.

  • Also, it's been band tested. I've played it along with loud drumsets & other guitars. It cuts in and is loud enough even at half master half drive.

Although you should have a more in depth demo of it, showing every possible channel & its different stuff. Like clean channel clean and crunch, drive channel classic and insane.

  • Sounds great. I got myself a brand new one recently too. I don't see all the bs about this amp, sounds pure marshall quality to me.
