  • i got da poo on me

  • POO POWER :)

    That's a bunch of Crap :)

Hmmmm, I bet you could do the same with People Poo ;)

    TASTY lol

  • SOmehow, I think the idea of using cow power is full of shit lol.

  • In Galicia, where I was born, manure was collected and made into "estiercol" a very effective fertilizer. In China this method is already in use by farmers to produce gas for their homes.

Hopefuly, we will see more of this type of renewable energy being used.

  • What if we stopped eating cows?

  • you really want a decent answer?? get real.

  • wendy's is so good :( lol

  • Then we would breed them less, use their dung for fertilizer and gas, never have to import gas from foreign countries and we would become more healthy and wars would stop.

  • i saw a cow once

  • hahahaaa once...

I really liked your comment :)

    thank you....

  • Or we could just stop eating meat. :)

  • Maybe I'll believe in your conspiracy theory when it has some semblance of logic to it. I mean, this is a video about farmers making fuel out of waste - but I guess they're really just companies "making the big bucks" in disguise...?

  • Well if this "biogas" become the norm, they will be just like another oil company, but worse because pumping oil is cheap and these complicated devices which process the manure cost exceedingly more. Im just saying that a change to something like this would cost trillions of dollars in total, for nothing but a new kind of fuel. So yes this farm/company will be making big bucks from this, were just told its for the better of the "ozone depletion" -_-

  • Watch the video again. They are using the biogas to generate electricity, which they sell to the electric company. They're not trying to corner the petroleum market or whatever. Plus, they are cutting down on the methane the cows produce at the same time, which is one of those wacky greenhouse gasses you don't believe in.

  • Actually, an anaerobic digester can pay for itself in about 5 years. It's not going to replace fossil fuels, but it is a renewable, domestically available source of energy, and whatever you think about global warming, manure pollutes air, rivers, and your drinking water. This would help clean that up. India has over 2 million in use and biogas is becoming a useful fuel in many European countries. We just haven't been motivated yet in the US to conserve energy and clean up waste in this way.

  • who's paying you to say that

  • u mite hava point actually

but there is some proof such as the weather changes

but ill be with u on that one

  • Human-made GHGs do take part in the augmentation of the World's average temperature, it's pretty much proved by graphics comparison. The real question is: what would it cost to stop it? The answer: too much to even think about it right now. Our goal is not to drop GHG in atmosphere, but on a much higher scale to protect everyone's happiness, isn't it?

Still, protecting our immediate environment from pollution like in this video is a completely other issue and very desirable.

  • Exactly

  • and it works fine. we are doing this in germany for years

  • I'm assuming this "biogas" is mostly methane?

  • Yeah, it's 55-65% methane and 30-35% carbon dioxide. (Natural gas is around 80% methane.) The solids left over can be used for fertilizer.

  • Cool. Thanks!

  • i prefer the solids over the liquids
