You should see these guys play live. It's awesome. None of their gear is made after 1970 so there is a constant hum before when they are not playing. Johann Johannsson is a genius. Check out his albums. Absolutely beautiful music. (albeit very different from apparat)
@siggiola32 I think their Microkorgs might have been made after 1970, unless perhaps they have some really early prototypes. The Microkorg went on sale in 2002!

@Mikesch11 Yeah, that'd be Iceland. It doesn't really have a sense of "celebrity" like a lot of other countries do, so aside from Björk and Sigur Rós, you can pretty much contact anyone you want and they'll respond. That's how I ended up sleeping at the home of Guðlaugur Kristinn Óttarsson (@DenseTime) for a week.
i was making a joke...they have FOUR keyboard players. but yes, the guitar is getting way too much attention. the four are actually typing a letter to the owner of the band to get a guitarist for their band! ;)

Saw them live last year in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. IT ROCKED!! You really feel the synths live, very nice!
