i liked her in Nightwish. She fitted well. Although i like only few songs she sung. The rest is filled with weirdly overstretched words and other manners. I know it had to be an "Opera singing" but i prefer this song from above more than e.g "Bless the child". Think she's doin' good on her own

Guys, the thing is we'll probably never know the real reason why they gave her up. We can however judge this from a purely artistic point of view and agree (most of us at least) that we would have loved to see them continue their work with NW in the previous format...

sure she's awesome and I love her voice but nightwish did good, she was acting like a diva disrupting the band saying that without her they were nothing, caused the cancelation of sold out shows for petty reason and further more she would only have done one more album if tuomas had'nt accelarated things.

@chopantura but tuomas letter was based on how the rest of the band felt. they alsodidnt want hard feelings between them but tarja and her husband didnt take it gracefully. regardless, we now have Tarja doing her own thing, and a revamped Nightwish.
