  • This is how I make my Creamy Chicken Noodle soup! Omit the dough and add wide egg noodles about 30 minutes before serving. Yummy and goes along way. Freezes great too! I am the mother of 6 and Nonna of 1 so I always make large meals and freeze ahead meals!

  • @nonnaofemmett how much of the noodles do you add?

  • DELICIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • can you cook it faster than 8hrs? and what temp, high, med?

  • thanks for the vids... gonna make this, this weekend... thanks again..

  • For a thicker dumplings u thing 2 1/2 cups of the chicken broth will be enough

  • wow, gorgeous ladies and great food...what more can a guy want out of life? :)

  • Can you cook on high? If so, how long do I need to cook it?

  • are the biscites cooked or uncooked? I got that you cut them up, but I didnt catch if they were cooked or uncooked.

  • Tried this last night and LOVED it! We served it over mashed potatoes. Tonight, we're having leftovers with fresh baked bread. I added a seasoning called 'Kick 'n Chicken' by Weber (picked it up at Walmart) and it added a little spicy kick to it. This one is definitely going into my favorites folder. Thanks a bunch :)

  • Awesome!

  • I made this today and it is awesome! My husband usually calls it an experiment when I try a new dish and I am happy to report that he loved this dish!! I will be making this again. So easy and inexpensive - my kind of meal!

Also, love your FB page - that is where I found you first. I hope you keep this up because I love the videos and I love reading everyone's posts on the FB page.

    Thanks so much for sharing!

  • being southern i have never made chicken and dumplins in a crock pot..will have to try this

  • Hey Ladies I remember my Mom making C&D's when I was little but she didnt add the veggies and made her own dumplins. Now since I didnt learn from her, I changed your recipe a bit and I cant believe how close this is to Moms. I whisked my soup, butter and broth first, then added the chicken and boulian (sp) cubes and crocked on High 3 hours, added the biscuits for 30 minutes and WOW!!!! Thanks for making my life so much easier!

  • We made this and liked it just fine. I would really call this Chicken and Biscuits though. The flavor was great and it was very easy. We will try it with real dumplings next time though. Keep up the good work ladies.

  • Love, love that you are doing videos!! Keep up the great work, helping us save time and feeding our families yummy dinners !! Thanks for doing this !

  • from one of your FB friends - LOVE the presentation and the whole Crock Pot theme!

  • I've got it going in my crockpot now and I have to thank you for making my crock pot exciting! I am absolutely loving the recipes but more than that I am thrilled with trying a recipe with so many others at once! My friends and I are now considered crockheads lol thanks again ladies!

  • This sounds Amazing!!! I've got it going in my crock pot right now!!! I used a whole chicken instead of chicken breasts, and I am going to put rice in instead of dumplings....I'll have to make some of your other recipes next, especially the taco stew!! THAT one sounds divine!! Thank you both so much! You make life healthier and easier!!! <3

  • Thanks for watching everyone! Glad you are enjoying the recipe!

  • This was amazing! My husband LOVED it and chicken is not his favorite! Will definitely make this again. :) thank you so much for all the recipes. Makes life easier.

  • Great job girls, I love trying the recipes found on the facebook page. Never let em get ya down ;)

  • @karig6674 Thank you :) We try not to! As long as this is helping people to get dinner on the table with LESS STRESS, then we are still doing what the page was intended to do in the first place... and that is what matters!

  • I'm going to try this recipe out right away! Sounds delicious and so easy. I subbed to your channel as soon as I started watching this video, I knew I was gonna love you girls! Can't wait to check out the rest of your videos. Keep up the good work! xxMeg

  • @Mahoney1 Thanks! Glad you are enjoying the videos!

  • What a great idea! I'll definitely be keeping my eye out for some yummy, creative slow cooker recipes. I just have a critique/suggestion on the video. I LOVE the fact you have 2 cameras!! The framing is great! You could even get a little tighter if you want. Lighting levels are different between the 2. Since you are already editing between 2 cams, u can cut sooner - video will go smoother/quicker. Ex: we don't really need to see scraping out cans. 1:19 to 1:36 was just adding C.O.Chix Soup. :)

  • Yummy. It got a 4/5 in our house. The 5th would have liked it if she had really tried it too :) Made it exactly how you suggested, only I used thighs instead of breasts. My crock pot has shifted to warm and the hubby didn't know to turn it back on to cook the dumplings. Delicious! I will be making this for my freezer cooking co-op too. I am sure it will freeze perfectly (without the dumplings, of course.)

  • I used the recipe that called for two cans of soup and cup of water....cooked it all day...yeah it went over 8 hours....came back and threw the biscuits in and turned it on high for 45 minutes....OMG easiest meal I have ever made in my life! and nice and tasty...sure you want to add the carrots, celery and onion you could do that too but we loved the way ours turned out....good luck to everyone

  • Thanks for sharing. Looks great. Can't believe that people feel the need to critique the video. Get a life!

  • Crock Pot Girls..Thanks for sharing your Chicken and Dumplings recipe! Looks great! I can't wait to try it. Whenever you get mean comments on your video's, remember you have some very appreciative, new fans...Keep sharing!!

  • The only way this could be better is if you gave the option to print the recipe also. ...

  • @carleen67 Did you see the recipe in text form under the video? If you go to "see more" there should be the full recipe typed out that you can copy and paste into a word document :)

  • @thecrockpotgirls Ahhhh....I see it now, thanks! Wonderful recipe...hubby said to be sure to give you two an "Atta Girl!"

  • This girl on the right.......I do not know names yet ,but she was doing the stirring and adding of the ingredients, I find it offensive that anyone who is cooking, messes with their hair 2 times then scratches her nose .....Nasty.....Just my opinion

  • @junemitchell oh yes I saw the nose one too and that bothered me!!! good thing I'm not the only one!!

  • I'm going to try this. I never could figure out how to do dumplings in the crockpot...now i know! thanks for the video...I think you did a great job!!

  • This looks delicious! I am making it tomorrow, and I can't wait to taste it! Thanks for the video, btw. It's very helpful for visual people like me!

  • sounds and looks like a good thing; the only problem I found is so much sodium in the cans of soup and granules you used.

  • Thanks to all of you for watching the video! Hope you enjoy the meal and continue to cook with us!!!

  • It's in the crock pot right now! Can't wait!

  • I made the sirloin tip steak recepie saturday....... used whole grain rice........ YAY!!! it was righteous!!

  • looks yummy and very easy off to the store I go to get the stuff to make it. Thanks!!

  • @victoria, I love this, I was just trying to tell them that they can make money off it because it's so popular. This easily could be a professional cooking show. It doesn't take hollywood to be a chef. Like you say, there are real moms that are looking for excellent recipes that don't take hours to do. I'm a guy that cooks for families and this is a godsend. as far as the no offense intended, if i didn't put that in i would feel guilty for making a possibly helpful suggestion.

  • @maeistero Point well taken, maeistero. That's a problem I think we all run into online - can't type inflections in your words!! I agree, could easily be a professional cooking show. I know I will be watching them!! :-)

  • Will be trying this one this week. If find it hard to believe that anyone would feel the need to critique this or any of their videos. I thought the girls did a great job. I will continue to look to their website for more recipes and videos - anything to make this crazy world a little easier. Thanks for all your efforts!

  • @TheKlled218 You are welcome!!

  • This looks really easy and good. What kind of biscuits did you use?

  • I love chicken and dumplings and really love that I can now make them in my crockpot to be ready when I get home! Thanks so much for this video. I'm a visual person and this helped me bunches!!

  • @SpatterTX Glad you found it helpful! I (Jenna) get intimidated by some recipes, but if I SEE how easy it is, then I am more likely to try it!

  • Loved the video! Will be trying this recipe...sounds yummy!

  • I love how amateur this is. No offense meant girls, but when you make something the first time, talk to yourself so the video goes smoother. By the way, I check your fb at least once a week for new recipes, thank you! To make more money, sell advertising for smoke alarms and fire insurance.

  • @maeistero If you have to start a statement with "No offense intended", then it might be better to keep your lips closed. The point is the recipe, not to have a professional cooking show. These are real moms who have jobs and that is the appeal of this site. That's why I watch, because it is presented by people who have the same lifestyle as me (work and kids) and frankly, I would not have time to talk to myself first to make the video go smoother. It's a very good video as it is.

  • @maeistero Thank you for the constructive criticism ;) We are just now starting to get the hang of this, and we hope y'all see our weekly improvements! Glad you are enjoying the FB page :)

  • @ genesysnurse, the biscuits are the dumplings.

  • The video must have turned off before I got to see the end! I rewatched it and understand totally now! :D

  • @genesysnurse Glad you got it cleared up :) ENJOY!

  • @Dizzylizzyscreations I rewatched the video and get it now! The first time I watched it the video must have cut out before i watched the entire thing! :D

  • Where are the dumplings? The title says chicken and dumplings? Looks good other than that!

  • On my way to the grocery store to pick all of this up...I'll let you know the results! Thanks girls!

  • I would leave out onions and carrots, but I like the recipe.Y'all had some good ideas..Thank ya much.

  • Man oh Man!! I can't wait to try this! You ladies rock!

  • I'll be trying this in the morning. I bought low sodium broth and bouillon because the recipe has A LOT of salt in it, when you consider the salt in the soup, broth and bouillon, plus added salt to taste.

  • @lynette4263 We actually used the low sodium soups and broth like you did, and I believe the bouillon was low sodium also... Way to make adjustments that fit your lifestyle!
