@atlanticbands Definition of a true fan: Supporting the logo on the "sweater" and not the players wearing them. If the players don't perform according to expectation they deserve to hear it from the true fans. Only those who know nothing about the sport or the team get behind a roster, or individual that isn't deserving of wearing that Ch on hist chest. When a team isn't performing, coaches get fired, players get traded...but the logo on the jersy stays the same!
@jonpro15 I've got no problem with most of that but what about the guys who served "CH" very well and get a kick in (&(^*& when they make an appearance in the Bell Centre. Only a couple of exceptions: Koivu & LeFleur back in the day. Hockey Sweater this side of the boarder!

Go watch his "jersey" retirement ceremony at the Bell Centre. and just to add. I am Canadian and played hockey in the states. No one says Hockey Sweater lol. There are such things as Hockey Sweaters, most of them are pre 60s nhl. But since then, they are Jerseys and not Sweaters. Different Material..
