The circumstances to not re-occur each year because Earth and mercury are on orbits that are tilted with respect to each other

Transits of Mercury with respect to Earth occur about 13 or 14 times per century  Sounds like a handful each century to me. Venus transits even less with about 2 per century.

Very nice video! I know we're astronomers, and science is the goal, but perhaps a little music during the show would be a nice addition :-) The jets were cool.
