Rode dirtbikes on the freeway at 60 mph dodging semis and trying not to get blown off the road or hydroplane all the way to Carefree highway. I have ridden Baja and this was 20 times worse. Will remember the rest of my life. First the Jeeps and H2's were turning around. Then the quads. Idiots we were, we kept going. Morons. We should have all died.
Does anyone have any video of this trail when it is raining and then turns to snow at a higher elevation? I rode this trail on a motorcycle all the way up and it was the most insane ride of my life...8 water crossings in torrential downpour, temps went from 45 down to 25, halfway up the rock waterfall that was the trail, turned to ice and snowl. Holy shit. When we finally hit the pines and 6" of snow on knobbies I wanted to be helicoptered out. 3 guys went down in the rivers
