  • @miyaka1123 the thing is it isn't. They're dead once they get the screw drover through the head, it's just the nerves. Plus we live in a place where none of this is normal, they grow up with things like that. It's just different cultures.

  • that's really cruel..

  • What the fuck!!!!!

Am thai in thailand don't do like this.

  • it annoys me when people say "dont kill the wittle baby eewl!" because animals where "made" for humans to eat.. we eat to live, people!

  • movement doesn't equate with life....

  • blah

  • coughing....coughing...you what?....

  • @cb7pwn I don't see any sarcasm. Nice cover up though. Maybe next time

  • MMMM fresh and ready to go in my stomach.

  • How does it taste?

  • some people are so easily grossed out

  • Oh nonsense! Stupid Korean

  • that's too fresh.

  • sea dick

  • blah

  • Damn that's not funny, that's fucking crual! I'm open-minded but i'm clearly against animal cruelty!

  • k people lots of cultures have different ways of eating things and im south korean and ive been to one of these places.. yes i too think its pretty crule but ive seen way worse than this and if u just open ur minds to others cultures u may understand

  • well im pretty sure everyone knows once the screwdriver is lodged into the brain the eel is dead and the body is just reacting like a lizards tail or a fish head when you cut it off cause the nerves are reacting

  • WTF thats sick! imagine taking off your skin. >_<

  • This is absolutely dis fuc**** gusting, and sick.

  • Ommmgggggffggdfgg wtfff

  • fucking Korean!!

  • yummm!!! (drooling) lol hahahha

  • I hope I start wriggling around like that when I'm dead in the morgue, I wanna freak the morticians out!!!

  • hey im south korean and yes i have to agree it is pretty disgusting watching the process, but you americans can't say anything how do you think the food at mc donalds is made? hmmmmm?

  • @divinegod102

LOL - That was funny. I don't eat garbage. if you do that's your business. I was taught by scholars not by sub human people like you who are a trifle beneath me. You are the scum that the bible speaks of. Of whom eat all types of abominations and are bias to gays n shit. All that sodomite stuff is your life. I love to live clean. Not even the dog that pisses on the wall of Babylon shall escape judgement. So eat your godless food, My body is my temple and your's is a wasteland.

  • @mikeygeneral Always knew that Christians and Catlicks are a bunch of narrow-minded bigots. You just proved my point. Thank you good sir.

By the way how old are you? Like 12?

  • @mikeygeneral And hey, if you want to "live clean", at least get a formal education before judging upon people that are different than you. You worthless piece of religious filth.

  • @divinegod102

  • @mikeygeneral Good for you. I don't really care but you need to grow up.

  • Dude, the eels are dead. The eels dont need a brain to move.

  • Thats f*cking mean!

  • It has been scientifically proven that taste is directly proportional to movements of the organism at the time of eating.

  • @TheVindalooKing for realz? what's the correlation? I suspect it varies across cultures

  • I lived in korea for 12 years and had the eel, raw/live squid & octopus. Interesting to say the least but some of the stuff was pretty darn good.

  • @SafeArmsReview agreed! I was just back in Seoul a few weeks ago and had some jellyfish, octopus, and many other slimeys... definitely an acquired taste, but you're right, lots of it is really tasty!

  • do you eat the bones? they are pretty sharp, aren't they?

  • @wow0yunnies you're right, there are some sharp bones, but most of the small ones soften when you cook it, so you can just eat those

  • Stupid Korean people doing that to them while alive!! Not good idea!! It can feel the painful!!!

  • @JADEAV people gotta eat! lol

  • @JADEAV retarded troll. it dies as soon as the screwdriver goes through the head.

  • @JADEAV didnt they just kill them? screwdriver through the head....so brain is gone all thats left is musle memory for some time. the squid cut and organ gone whithing few seconds so consiousness was gone. and dont all meet products live till slaughtered.i mean look at the US, some places they still basictly abuse chikents to make fast food meals. chikens kept in the dark, injected to make larger so much they cant walk or they die from the rapid grouth. so dont say stupid koreans. ^^ no offence

  • @JADEAV For your info when you drive a screw driver through the head its dead. The wiggling is just muscle jerks and what not. IT FEELS NO PAIN WHAT SO EVER

  • @JADEAV

It's not alive you ignorant fuck. It's called NERVES. The head is cut off, so it can't feel pain.

  • @JADEAV Yeah, how do you think animals in America are treated. Badly.

  • I grew up in Eastern Asia and have saw no such food like this.

  • @Evrythn1outof8infnty Maybe you need to go to more markets??

  • @Evrythn1outof8infnty Yes, because Canada is in east asia.

    I am disappoint.

  • man i'd hate to be jammed on the head by a screwdriver, get skinned, and be fried on a grill w/out my skin... x.x haha

  • Actually, the eels are already dead. They are kindof like snakes because their body moves pretty long even after their body are disconnected from their brain. Their body still moves because of nerves going out of wack.

  • @YuneShik lol, yeah, but they're not dead when that screw driver is forced through their brain! Ouch!

  • I don't find that to be all that disturbing considering that I have ate things... a bit worse than that, although I can understand why you would be a bit freaked out if it was your first time eating Asian delicacies. Good thing you tried it though, many things look gross but often taste quite nice, but I wish people would be more open minded about these things. Just because it may be weird to them does not mean it is dispicable.

  • @Anonymous738 Well said!

  • it's horrible! poor eels!!!

  • EEL IS DELICIOUS!

  • I think the eel has a lot of nerves in it,thats why its moving, cus when its severed from the head/or if it "Malfunctions" they go wiggles

  • now that is serious FRESH food!!

  • aw but it does look nummy ...

  • Seems like they are still alive Oo

    Eww!!

    poor eels

  • Yeah! The r-eel d-eel!

    ^^

  • Once the screwdriver goes through the head, they die. Not as disturbing as it seems.

  • I still think the wrigling is pretty intense...

  • @emilm Then why do they wriggle?

  • @Raymint It's a reflex, since once the tentacle is disconnected from the nervous system, it loses coordination and randomly moves around. It has the added benefit of providing a distraction from the predator that bit the octopus' arm off, increasing it's chances of escape.

It's due to the fact that the octopus (along with many other animals) has a more distributed nervous system. Much of the signal processing and coordination occurs away from the brain.

  • @emilm Right ... thanks for that, it all makes sense now.

  • poor little eel... =(

  • regret that i even watched it. SICK!!

  • oh~ Gros!

  • YEAH!!!! Koreans are immune to horror movies?
