Hangar 18 tells the story of a place where aliens are kept. It gives a very brief description of the structure and how escaping from it is impossible but leaves the pun "possibly ive seen too much" = something is in store. return to hangar talks of the aliens' escape and killing the "crew of cowards" having them "suspended by their broken necks". Hence "no one survived to tell the story". Simple shit: confined aliens which escape. Pretty shallow song for being one of Megadeth's supposed best eh?

yeah, i never really understood his constant hate for kirk. Kirk didnt kick him out, he only copied dave's solos because lars told him to and he didnt want to get fired right after joining metallica, and yet dave still talks shit about him more than 25 years after the whole thing.
I think his beef with Kirk is that Kirk is an utter tool. He played what he was told to play and Metallica was the best metal band in the world. Hangar 18 tells the story of a place where aliens are kept. It gives a very brief description of the structure and how escaping from it is impossible but leaves the pun "possibly ive seen too much" = something is in store. return to hangar talks of the aliens' escape and killing the "crew of cowards" having them "suspended by their broken necks". Hence "no one survived to tell the story". Simple shit: confined aliens which escape. Pretty shallow song for being one of Megadeth's supposed best eh?

I think his beef with Kirk is that Kirk is an utter tool. He played what he was told to play and Metallica was the best metal band in the world. As soon as the gave Kirk a free hand (Load), they stopped jamming like the old days. I know we all get old and things change, but at least stop clinging to the Metal title when clearly your no better than any other new stuff thats coming out.
