  • Debuted on the St. Louis area charts on March 26, 1955, peaked at #4 & charted for 2 weeks. Unfortunately it never charted nationally on the pop charts.

  • Yes he did; some other interesting sessions (on tube) another one is; The subject is Jazz, 1958 NBC TV series; featuring DR. Billy Taylor (p) my father (g) was the house guitar player; and a staff writer for the station at the time.

  • This version is great. Its from an even greater album. I wish all songs in it were uploaded. Stell By Starlight is excellent! Zoot Simms is in it and I just love the album.
